Not really a social in the same sense that occurs in other cities but just an informal gathering in a public place to meet, drink, and be merry.

That date doesn't work for me - how about one around the middle of April. I'll be in Vegas the night of 14th fairly late and heading home on the 18th.

Depending on demand, this might turn into a monthly or more frequent happening.  Unlike the Bash, these informal gettogethers will probably be announced with short notice.
