OK - not going to the mat over this - but do feel that stealing $$$ flat out is a different crime than someone not saying yummy when they swollow your load ---  of course IMHO

There is a post below about a provider allegedly ripping off a client by taking the $$ and never returning to provide service.  I think that this is the worst kind of ripoff because it is theft.  A client recently ripped off a provider by not paying (see NY Board) which is also theft and equally bad.

There are at least two other kinds of ripoffs.  A provider who intentionally provides a suboptimal level of service after advertising or leading one on to more than is actually provided once the $ has been collected.

The third kind of ripoff is when a provider or client "no shows" without cancelling.  I understand that there are many reasons for no shows. Some are legitimate and others are not.  But stealing another person's time is just as bad as taking the money  and running.  Money can be replaced but time is precious.  Not calling or attempting to notify the other person that you are going to cancel is stealing their time and is a ripoff.  A simple phone call to notify the other person that you are not going to show regardless of the reason is common courtesy and makes up for the cancellation.

RIP OFFs posted for the Vegas area ... I feel anyone getting a ranking of .... should of stayed home, barely worth the effort, and she just laid there .... also fall into this arena.  my .02

I respectfully disagree – running off with money (stealing) is a fact.  “She just laid there and OK if I was drunk” are the opinions of a specific reviewer.  I think that is a lot different than a rip-off.  Besides maybe some people like ugly motionless sex.

if someone liked ugly motionless sex ... then the reviewer would still rate her in the 9's and 10's ...I believe that anytime you do not recieve services that have been "mutually" agreed upon, that can be termed a RIP OFF. She may have stated that she does certain items to get your money with no intention of ever performing such services....my .02

providers who promise a GFE on their web sites but don't kiss with tongue and insist on covered French?  Isn't that a rip-off?  It's analogous to bait and switch in the business world.

GFE means different things for different people .
Maybe for you DFK and BBBJ means GFE,  for others it doesn't .

So that doesn't mean rip off.

Now if the provider promises to deliver something that  she doesn't,If she misrepresents what she offers just to get the booking now that is bait and switch.

OK - maybe GFE was a bad example, however, I'll bet if you polled the men on this board an overwhelming majority would say that GFE means at a minimum DFK is provided.

One LV provider told me that she liked her fake reviews that detailed services she doesn't provide because they increased her business.  In any case, bait and switch is a rip off which is why it is illegal in the real world.

Sorry to disappoint you but the men on this board are only a small percent of the clients . There are many men out there who don't participate on these boards . They may  read the reviews but they don't post reviews and they don't participate on the boards. So your poll would really mean nothing.

If majority really thought that DFK=GFE or that BBBJ=GFE
Then I wouldn't be working much ;-)

The LV provider that told you she likes fake reviews because it increases her business , well maybe in short term it does but in long run it can only hurt her . Besides I don't think guys should relay on what a review said because as we know guys like to exaggerate a bit ;-) and also maybe because a certain chemistry it did happen for real . but it won't happen with everyone ...........as in YMMV .
Guys should use the reviews as an indicator for what they are looking for and then before they book the appointment ask the provider if she does provide that certain service that they want .

Never assume anything because it was written ...........unless it was written by the provider or told to you by the provider .
First source of information is always the BEST source of information
Just my opinion .xoxo CindySpice

anytime you are promised something and pay for it and it doesn't happen and your not to blame for it not happening ... then your a RIP OFF victim .... On a scale of 1 to 10 .... 10 being flat out stealing and 1 being misprentation as Cindy put it ... all are a form of being taken (RIP OFF) just to different degrees....

I've experienced the third ripoff from a Miss someone that claims to be like Kelly Bundy of "Married With Children". I can't believe her! What gall!

However, that is the nature of the hobby as we have this excellent forum called TER that will tell other providers how not to get ripped off from providers just like her.

Only if some providers, just like her, would just back off from asking TER to remove bad reviews of her. If providers cannot take good and bad critiques of their performance, how would they expect any reviewers wanting to have business with them? The new hobbyists and first timers will have to suffer the consequences of insecure providers who cannot take honest criticism of their performance. As a result, more than likely they will not get any more business.

Here is one for you all. If a provider arrived at your place (she always has excellent reviews and is highly rated performer) and then announced that she could not provide FS due to recent operation done on her kitty. Does it qualify as ripoff? As for the outcome of that session, I completed the session with just one pop  with her permission at the beginning yet she claimed that she might be damaged internally afterward. I still contributed donation, just because we had have some good time previously and also out of the kindness of me. She never acknowledged her substandard performance under those circumstances.  Again she is a highly rated performer and no spring chicken for this advanture. I'm now still wonder why she agreed to take the appointment after completion of her operation.

If she took the money before telling you about the operation and then refused to give it back, then yes it would be a rip off.  If, however, she told you and you then decided to proceed with the session anyway, it would have been your choice and not a rip off. IMHO.
