Since someone said the other day that TER is not interested in promoting girls from other web sites, I'll skip the web girls tips and tricks, but here's at least one helpful tip that should be applied to all TER girls, especially those with very few reviews and fishy reviewers. Type the first six digits of the provider's phone number (starting with the area code). The result will tell you which company the phone is registered to and more importantly whether it is a cell or land line. Land line numbers, as a rule, indicate an agency. Very few providers use their home phones. I haven't come accross one yet. Some (smart) agencies transfer calls to girls' cell phones because each one of them has a unique number assigned, so you actually get to speak with the girl directly, although you have dialed the agency! But the number you'd dialed is still a land line and you can verify that ahead of time. I found this to be one of the most helpful tricks when dealing with unknown providers.

As far as fake pics, cutouts from magazines, pics that look too professional for a $300/hr outcall, taken with a telephoto lens (therefore likely fake), web site links in ads (agency), or girls that look too good to be true (fake), I'll skip that for now...

One other thing I think is wrong, providers ALWAYS WANT their clients home and work phones to screen. What if we want to screen the providers? Somehow, that just don't seem to work out does it?

This is a good find.  Thanks.  I checked at least about 5 different numbers from cityvibe and did a check on TER, they were listed as agency.

I just tried my number, and it's listed as a landline even though I only have a cellphone.

I tried one of mine, and it came up with the cell provider I started with.  It was moved about a year ago, but it got the cell vs landline part correct.

I can see why that would happen.  In the old days you changed providers,,,I mean cell phone here lol, and you couldn't keep your number. Now you can keep your number if you decide.

Situation such as yours must be so rare that it has very little practical importance. One of the posters probably explained why this happened. I have personally checked a few dozen numbers or more that I know for a fact what type of line they are and never ever got it wrong.

OK, just investigated the problem and came up with a probable solution. First, did you type in 6 or seven digits? Sometimes it is necessary to type seven digits instead of only six, and the search will be returned as correct. Try it and let us know.

The earlier poster hit it on the nose, I think: I ported my old land-line number to my cell phone. Since only 1 in 10 Americans have gone cell-only and, I'm willing to bet, fewer than that have ported their old numbers, I bet it won't affect the database much.
