As only an occasional Las Vegas visitor, I have a question of the more experienced, both providers and indulgers.  I would like to get an in-person look and talk before making  an expensive (time and opportunity both) decision.  Is if fair to ask a provider to meet for a drink at the hotel bar first?  To allow me the opportunity to judge and be judged with the little head helping make a decision for me?

For most ladies you are paying for their time, what you do with it doesn't matter.  That's hobbying 101.  A rare few will meet your request at no charge.  The first lady I ever contacted was the legendary Natalie Chase. I asked her the same question you are asking here.  I even offered up a stipend and a free lunch.  She said "Hon, it's the same donation no matter what we're doing."  My first hobbying lesson.

So while you are asking a lady to meet you for drink so you can decide in person if this may or may not work for you ....... she just spend time getting all dolled up and getting to the place of meeting for a maybe ?  
and then maybe in the mean time turing away a gent who knows for sure he wants to spend time with her for a "maybe" ??

To much info on the net that you can get a pretty clear idea what is worth for you or not.
and if not enough info , well then that is when someone TOFT or sticks to someone that has more info available.  
That is how the game works.

If you want to have the option to Judge ladies in person , maybe going to a brothel is a better choice for you . Although it will be a very expensive choice ! *wink wink*  
Or picking up a casino girl ......... but that comes with too many other problems that you are better off taking an "online chance"  

For the most part well reviews ladies are-  what you see is what you get .
Of course there can always be a gent who isn't 100% happy and maybe find a flaw because of their own personal issues.......or maybe the issue is justified .  
Oh well .

Sometimes even a great car that you buy , turns out to be a lemon ......but most cars you buy are great .  

Maybe it is fair to offer a lady a "meet and greet" fee .
but for established ladies  ,it just isn't worth it.

If you go to a Vegas casino bar solo, it's a 99.99% chance the first girl you meet is a provider.  Why not try that instead of scheduling something and possibly wasting a girls time

There was a thread where a Vegas hobbyist was drugged, robbed and had his CC charged thousands by a "casino girl."

I have done this before. We simply meet for Social time ( meaning time in public only) for a much lower donation.

although I've been told I do look better after a couple drinks!......that SHE'S downed!!

So yeah, it would be great if it worked the way you describe, it's just not a viable way for the girls to do business.

And even if they did decide to do this, they'd surely have to limit these meeting to guys with a certain number of reviews so as to weed out those who are just looking to have drinks with a hot girl for free.

That's why Meet & Greets are so good. I've attended two and on both occassions I met girls I wasn't interested in based on their websites/board presence, but in person they just had that certain je ne sais quoi that put them on my radar.

It does take a lot of effort to 'shift gears' and get ready, drive down to the strip, park, walk in our crazy high heels, feel awkward trying to recognize someone you've never met yet...

I love the Meet & Greets as that way the guys get to meet you and you get to meet the guys and see if you click...

Good on you La Rue for offering a social setting proposal... At least some compensation is offered to cover time, energy and gas.... Maybe I'd consider that...
