If you don't know where it is, NLV, on LV Blvd just south of Lake Mead and across from Jerry's Nugget.  Search for a past post from me for the website.

Valet was manned on this strip (it should be, grand opening and a bigger crowd).  Free.  The parking lot isn't very big so they almost force you use to valet (the other idea I had was park at Jerry's Nugget and walk).

Inside didn't look different at first.  The sign still say $20 for men, $10 for women, free for locals with ID.  Of course, the cashier said it was $20 cause it's a special event (Sunset Thomas was the feature).

The upstairs was roped off when I showed up before 9pm.  TravelinLover found me wandering the main room (wasn't even in use the last time I was here months back) and IMALLIN was sitting at the bar with dancer on top of him.  The guys partook in the free buffet.  The (new) owner was walking around, hanging around friends, handing out wrapped flowers to each of the dancers as they showed up.  Most of the tables and all the booths had reserved signs on them.  We managed to find a table without one and grabbed it before losing out.  We were joined by acidom and webbie during the course of the night.

Drinks:  we only drank bud/bud light bottles.  $5 each or a bucket of 5 for $20.  Not sure about the other drink prices.

Main room had a sprinkling of plasmas around the room.  Cleaned up and nice.  When they opened up the upstairs, the room on the right with the small stage and bar had new chairs and tables and the place looked cleaned up from the dump I remember from months back.

Sunset Thomas had 3 song numbers, scheduled for 10pm and midnight, more like 10:30pm and 1am.  Good crowd pleaser and a 20 minute wait for meeting the fans one on one.  $15 for a polaroid.  I think IMALLIN told me it was $40 for a lap dance.

Dance prices are typical for Vegas, $20/topless, $40/nude.  $250/30 minutes in VIP.

Dancers, on the basis of looks, were definately better looking than I remember.  A handful of carry overs from the old days (they looked a bit outta place when compared to the lookers).  Dances were standard, good grinds, no extras.  Maybe webbie has a different perspective.

They keep this up, might not be a bad place to return to but I have a nagging feeling that it'll come down a bit after a few months.  Hopefully not as bad as it was a few months ago.  Still rather smoky inside as acidom commented on.

I had an appointment with her many years ago and had a great time.  She tried to set up an appointment with her niece, Sunrise, and I couldn't make it.  What a mistake that was!!!

We wanted to try to talk her into becoming an indie in Vegas, but when she is upside down on top of you with her beautiful "Y" in your face, you don't seem to think about anything else but that! Lol! Actually, I think she has other irons in the fire, so to speak, but who knows? Maybe we shouldn't give up on her yet!
