1st off, thanks to you all for such a spirited reply!

2nd, you are correct, and I stand corrected, it appears her phone really was FUBAR, but I kept getting voice mail so I just assumed I was being ignored...my mistake. That being said, this wasn't isolated. It happened twice last year. I guess in future I'll just have to bring more info sheets with more options. (I don't have a lap top)

This is the second year in a row that I have made all the necessary (or so I thought) arrangements by email before my annual visit to your fair city, only  to have the selected providers never return my calls to confirm my appointments times.

There is a cute young lady who posts here often so I decided to try her out. 4 emails traded, and the only thing to do was to confirm which of two times we would meet (I don't always know my schedule till I arrive). Three phone calls later and no response...I find myself looking elsewhere.
Later her response (when I got back home) was that she nerver got any of my messages...not one of the three...hmmmm. I wish there was some facility on TER to notate this kind of thing

I am sorry to hear you haven't had luck while in Vegas ;-( I agree with LaRue , we are not all like that !

Please don't give up on Vegas.............As we don't give up on guys even when others do flake on us.

Cindy, I have been hobbying in LV since 1984.  This year was the first year I had so much trouble.  Amazing trouble, very well known ladies not returning emails, not returning phone calls, throwing out BS and red tape in verification, starting up the appointment process and getting part way thru and then disappearing, etc.  It was very frustrating.  

I managed to have fun because of three girls who flew into town to stay with me for an extended weekend and because of some fliers I took with girls off CL.

And after reading several threads of posts on this same subject, I really do believe that there is a trend away from pre-scheduled bookings weeks in advance.  True there will always be ladies like you and other established ladies who are settled in your profession and willing and able to schedule in advance, but I think there are indications of a trend away from this.  

It simply has become too easy for ladies to pick up appointments on the fly.

I really was amazed by how many times I heard the phrase "Well, just call me when you get into town and are ready to see me."

As I have said before just because a lady has great bedroom skills doesn’t mean she has great administration skills.

I can also think a few other reasons why some ladies are “flakes”………..but I’ll leave it to you to figure out what that is ( hint- it wasn’t because she had a better appointment come along ) but guys are willing to look the other way because she is hot or because she will give a bbbjcim.

Usually that is an agency line…………. If a true independent says it,  well then maybe that is the hint for you to know you can’t be sure she will show up .

Maybe next time look deeper for a reliable true independents.

Some gems can be found on CL , but I don’t think it is always good to take a gamble . Just as when you gamble in a Casino sometimes you may win but for the most part you will lose . ………..after all these Casinos were not built on winners ;-)

I just had the same thing happen to me there, I was just there for 4 days, had one appointment set then her schedule changed,then tried to contact many other providers and no one replied, so I just went to the stripclubs and spent a small fortune in the VIP lounge.

WOW, I'm heading to Vegas in 2 months and will be staying for a week. I'm planning on booking appointments in advance and have already emailed the providers to get some communication going.  Now I'm getting scared.  After all this planning it would suck to have a no show. I will have to bring plenty of back up numbers with me.

I completely sympathize.  The last two times I've been in Vegas, I've been stood up at the last hour by two well-reviewed providers...one of whom seems to be the one you're referring to.  After weeks of e-mails back and forth, literally an hour before our appointment, she e-mailed me that her car was broken down, but that she would try to make it.  She just left me hanging.  Funny, I always thought they had cabs in Vegas.

There's something wrong with the way many of the ladies in Vegas work.  Maybe it's because so many of their clients are out-of-towners, but they don't hesitate for a second to blow off an appointment at the last minute.

I suggested on the Suggestions & Policy board that there ought to be a way to post a "no show" review.  Nothing's happened with that idea so far.

I can't counter any of your experiences or say that you are wrong, except to say...without a car in Vegas isn't as easy as some may think.

Cabs in Vegas don't like to go to residential neighborhoods, because they either won't have a fare getting there or won't have a fare getting back.  So if you are in a residential area you are kind of last choice for any cabbie to want to pick up.

Cab Companies in Las Vegas also, tend to not let you "pre-order" a taxi...so you are supposed to call when you want the cab to come.  Persoanlly I have waited anywhere from 45 minutes to over 2 hours for a cab to arrive at my home to pick me up.  I always have called for the cab an hour to an hour and half before needing it to arrive...and despite that I am usually late to wherever I needed the cab to take me.

So, yes they have cabs in Las Vegas...but almost all of them are at the Hotel Casinos or the airport, and getting one to a residential area is not something that happens in a timely manner.

I couldnt agree more. If you are not going to or from the airport and the strip cab service in Las Vegas SUCKS!
