Amy stood me up for our date, and now her email bounces back with a message saying her hotmail mailbox has exceeded storage limits.  Looks like she isn't checking her email.  I did reach her on her cell phone the night she stood me up. She said "she forgot", and was on her way out to a show.

At least her full mailbox automatically answered your e-mail.  The two I sent a while back never had a reply.  All of this is totally unlike what others say about her?????????

You can consider her a flake.  And all the other guys who have gotten good results can feel otherwise.  A provider can't please everyone.  And no one can be pleased by all providers.

You said "she forgot", so unless you know otherwise I would take her at that.  And if she's not apologetic and willing to try again with you, there is a whole city full of others who would probably like your business.

In all seriousness.....why does one time "forgetting" label someone a flake?

Amy consistantly gets good reviews, has a loyal following but has one issue and shes branded?

This isn't quite fair if you ask me. I would give her a chance to make it up or just move on. I am sure all the other gents who find her companionship exqusite will have no complaints with losing someone else waiting in line to see her.

Guys pay women to have sex with them because they don't have to sweat the rejection issue that would usually come up with so-called "real" women. It's psychologically catharatic for a man to have to deal with something like that.


Getting back to Amy, if she is an honest provider,communicates well with her clientele and has legitmately established a following, then she should be given ample time to respond.

Providers have many different lives , and their professional life is kept as far away from their personal one. On New Year's Eve, I got my hair cut at a local casino known for it's young, hip ownership and generally upscale, hip atmosphere. No less than four professional women were in the salon at the same time, all book at $500 and up, the woman in the chair immediately next to mine is simply one of the best looking women I've ever seen (this coming from someone who prefers Asian and Latin women, she's a blond who advertises on I think Exotics and possibly Eros). The point of this is that my stylist, in between snipping what's left of my hair, is playing with her 8yo son. Even though I don't think I'd pay her rate (she is quite expensive and the service quite mediocre, typical for Vegas), if I did, I'd be thinking about her boy. I think the stylist also mention that she was married. Many women who work here in the business are married and call me a traditionalist, but I just can't ever think of fucking another man's wife, no matter the circumstances. Point I'm trying to make here is that something likely came up in her personal life and that she should be given benfit of the doubt for a reasonable time, most honourable women will explain at some point. You just never know.

I'm not sure if I buy into your psychological reasoning, but it's been two weeks. Is that a reasonable time?

Just because she had one foot out my hotel room when I reminded her about the donation on the table, DOES NOT make her a flake! She's just a bit forgetful, perhaps...great fun lady tho...so what would you guys have done?

Since you can't post a review about getting stood up, a provider that does this repeatedly may never get a reputation for what she really is.  This leads to the one bad day leading to being labelled as a "flake".

My example is my dealings with Baby Joi from Temecula.  She stood me up and responded in a manner far below my expectations for a woman in subsequent communications.  She has great reviews but I would never waste my time further on her.  There  is no way to pass this information along to other people interested in her, so reviews can be misleading.

We all have those times when we have trouble juggling all the balls and covering all the bases.  I think it would take quite a few posts like his to tarnish her image any.

Just to let you know...I do not know Amy but I have seen her post that she is traveling through my home state (Washington ) this past week.  Might make it hard for her to keep up with her mail.

While I understand the problems that provider no-shows cause a hobbiest, I was in no way condoning Amys behavior. I guess I am a bit naive if she has done this before and I have not read it.

My main issue, and I guess it did not come off clearly, was with NN's calling Amy a flake. There have been many respected hobbiests here who have had concern with providers standing them up ect. but at least have given them ample time to respond.

While NN seems to be level headed, he can be harsh, as was the case on another board and another ladies Glamour Shots. I have always been in favor of sharing information about consistant no-shows, ROB's and just general unethical practices with providers. To me that is what these boards are for. The Sharing of information regarding the ladies in this business. Maybe I am off base, but hey thats me. BUT....I do feel it is only fair to give a lady time to respond and if it seems to be a pattern with a certain lady, then by all means...look somewhere else.

And just for clarification...I don't know Amy. I have never met or even talked to her. All I know is her reputation on these boards from posts and reviews. She may very well be a flake, I don't know, I haven't tried to book an appointment with her. But for all intensive purposes she has a good reputation and the gents who see her Adore her. My point being, maybe trying to find out what happened before making snide comments will get you alot further in the future.

Thanks for your input, it's always appreciated.  Maybe a few more details will help.

It's been two weeks since Amy missed the appointment. I did email her, inquiring whether she'd like to try again. She never responded. Over the last few days, I've emailed her again and the emails get bounced back to me with an error message from hotmail stating that her acct has "exceeded storage allocations". It sounds as if many people are sending her emails, but she isn't reading them at this time.

You mention sharing information about consistant no-shows. Well, I guess someone has to be first, and I guess this time it's me. Only time will tell if this is a consistant problem.

One more thing about the missed appointment. I spoke to Amy the day before the appointment and she requested that we move the time back a little bit. I agreed, and was waiting for her when she never showed up. I called her about an hour after the agreed upon time, and that's when she told me that she left her appointment book somewhere and forgot about our appointment. At this point, I asked if she remembered talking to me on the phone the day before, and she said "vaguely, I was very busy yesterday".  Sorry, but by my definition, that falls under the category of "flakey".

Finally, I'm sorry if I come off as "harsh".  I'll try to be nicer.  But I don't really think I was harsh on the glamour shot issue, I was just pointing out my opinion of what you see vs. what you get. That's all this board is, a bunch of opinions.

we all seem to get into trouble with our opinions. Personally darlin, if it has been 2 weeks I would have posted that you have waited more than enough time for a responce. But without that kind of imformation, we are all lead to believe otherwise. But your original post sounded like it just happened. For this I apologize for the harshness of MY post.

I am sorry you got stood up. I am sorry for Amy that this incident is causing such a stir. But you are right, this board is just a bunch of opinions and there will always be the good, the bad and the ugly.

I hope your next experience is better. I do hope Amy is ok and able to resolve this issue.

I spoke to Amy on her b-day,the third,and sent her an e-mail the next day.It was returned,the mailbox was full.I called her up the next day,she was in Spokane.For all I know she's still there.I keep in touch with her,and I know she DOES travel,and often doesn't have access to a computer.    What I find interesting,is the theme of "rejection" that has been mentioned.In "real life" I've gone thru some really bad times,enough to make me shy away from getting hurt again.However,rejection happens here in hobbying,too,I am learning to not take it "personally".The FIRST time I tried to make an appt. here in Chicago,I got such a runaround,I should have given up right away,but I pursued it,got really pissed off and got on all the boards to denounce this woman.I wound up getting in arguments,and got suspended from posting on one board.I'm sure all my "warnings" probably had no effect at all (the way I went about it)except to make me look unstable.Someone made a comment that if you have trouble with one person,simply move on to the next person on the list,and sooner or later you find someone you find someone you can "click" with.This is a business,try not to take anything "personally".As long as you have the money,someone will have the time.

I happened to see Amy just before her B-Day. She told me that she was going to be in Washington for a while, on personal business. I can honestly say that we had a great time! If you haven't heard back, give her a break! I think that she is one of a kind and one of my favorites! I will be posting my review soon, and there is only onr thing to say about this BEAUTIFUL woman, WOW! hobby safe, hobby often, hobby on! RG
