Glad to see that she is doing so much better.  In our conversations over the past few weeks, I can see that you are a true gentleman, and should be praised for what you have done.  Consequently, I have chosen to applaud your efforts in public for everyone to see.  I just wish that I could have been of more help, but alas things did not work out that way.  As you know I will be there for you as well as Gina upon her return.  Although I have never met her personally, her strength and determination amazes me.  People with injuries such as this tend to give up over time, yet she has apparently only grown stronger.

It has been over a week since the last time I visited Gina. I'm sorry I haven't posted anything sooner. The reason I waited is that it looked like Gina would be transferred to a facility in Las Vegas any day and I wanted to give you the news about that before I posted again. Now it appears that she will finish her acute rehabilitation in Loma Linda, where she already is. When she is released from there, I think she will be ready for outpatient care, which means she will live in a private residence and commute to her rehab appointments. She will probably come back to Las Vegas then. I don't know how long it will take for her to be ready for that.

But I continue to be amazed at her progress. She is beginning to walk now with the support of a walker. Her physical therapy is getting more strenuous every day, I think. And her attitude is great! She is very willing to work as hard as she can at getting better.

Gina is getting so much better now that she is thinking about a lot of other things than her physical condition! For example, she has recently been bemoaning the fact that it has been almost three months since the last time she had sex!

Gina's sense of humor is just about back to normal too! Of course, normal for Gina might seem strange to some of us. She thought of something while I was with her the other day, and she insisted that I include it in my next post. So please know that these are her words, not mine, although they are written as if they were mine:

"Her style is like this, just like her style has always been. This is what it is!  'See my pinkie, see my thumb, bitches try me, and I’m gonna send donkey kong!'
Now that you know about Kong, Gina can’t wait to get back in to Dongs!
The only thing she gets to deal with now is when they see that pinkie, then they see that thumb, then all they can see is DONKEY KONG!"

Whenever Gina would think of those words, she would laugh hysterically if it didn't hurt her so much to laugh at all! She broke some ribs in her accident too! But I can tell she is laughing inside, because she can't talk, she is laughing so hard! Anyway, I would have been in trouble with her if I didn't post those words and this picture that goes along with them!
