SexyCurves over on the DC board posted a response to this not long back.  She has a "verified" Eros pic, and she explained it but I think according to her explanation there was some caveat to the process.  I don't think that eros takes the pic or anything like that, but they do verify that the girl is the girl in the pic.  And the "verification" costs the girl extra.  I think you are guarateed that the girl asdvertising is the girl in the pic, but not that she still looks exactly like the pic.

if eros photo is "verified" does that mean it's true? I can't believe that "Hailey" is real. Please comment

The provider sends a photo of herself holding a sign with "Eros" and her ad name on it, as well as other info they may request on the sign. (The staff does not personally meet her.)

Eros can then verify or match that the picture of the girl on the ad matches a girl in real life.

However, Eros doesn't care if the ad picture is outdated (i.e the girl has gained weight), only that there is an approximate representation.

Also, some agencies hire professional models (non-providers)for the pictures, including the Eros verification picture. So, bait and switch can still occur despite having a verified photo.

However, since it does take extra time and effort to send in a verified photo, overall IMO you are more likely to find a legitimate provider than one who does not have a "verified" photo.
