I don't think I would actually talk to some girl walking on the street.  Geesh, I haven't done that since '84 - there was a concrete wall outside the old MGM Grand that they would all sit up on, all lined up in a row.  You could drive by and motion to the one you wanted and she would jump down off the wall and hop into your ride.  In those days there was a cheap 30 buck a night motel right next door to the Grand that you could take them to.  Naw man, I'm not into that anymore!!  But the casino bar scene has intrigued me somewhat, that's a route I've never tried.

Boy! Talk about taking one for the team!  I hope my story will help keep others out of this mess.  Late one night in my recent Las Vegas visit, I was unable to arrange a regular outcall to my hotel by a proven provider so I decided to check out the street action.  I walked from Venetian towards Ballys and in front of one of the little casinos between Imperial Palace and Flamingo, I saw an attractive (8) blonde, standing in the door. As I passed by she looked at me, smiled and said hi!  I stopped and make small talk and then she asked me "Can I help you?" We spoke generically for a minute and then I (foolishly, obviously) started to get more specific and she stated a price that we agreed on.  As we walked to the hotel, she fell behind and a man approached me and badged me.  The police were very polite, took me to a secluded area, and explained that the offense was jail able but if I cooperated they would just cite me.  They did tell me that I would have to return to Vegas for a court hearing which is next to impossible.  I'm not sure what to do about that.

I really don't need any chastisement from anyone else.  I feel stupid enough as it is.  Are there any lawyers out there familiar with Vegas vice laws that can advise me on how to respond (and maybe even beat) this ticket and how to keep it from showing up on my records?
Thanks

ps - Can the police pose as providers at the bars and nickel slots in the hotels or are they pretty safe?

So sorry to hear this has happened to you ;-( .........This is why I say stick to the top well known independents . !!!

Yes LE can pose as providers at the bars and slots .

Can't reemphasize what Cindy is saying enough. With a plethora of lovely independent, reputable providers in LV, why take a chance on getting in to a bind with LE?

Do a little homework before you hit town, set up your time and voilia! I have to think that some of these guys that fall in to the LE trap, or get ripped off, or worked for big bucks by bar ladies, just haven't found the internet yet.

There's a great article in today's San Diego union tribune about the differences betwen NV and CA, and LV and SD in particular. The article discusses the Cheetahs strip club/corruption/city council mess in SD and LV, and the stark differences in the "philosophy" of the two towns. MfSD.

This guy was brave and open with us here, telling us about his trouble.  It was unfortunate for him, and I do wish him good luck, but it came at a good time for me.  I've always been a little envious of the guys who get to cruise the casino bars - there is something exciting about picking up the unknown.  Maybe it's the thrill of the hunt, I dunno.  I usually come to Vegas with plans made in advance, but was considering making some unplanned trips this summer and winging it with street/bar/lounge/strip club action.  Time for major reconsideration of those plans!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong - I feel bad for the guy - Vegas has a LOT more serious crime problems that the cops should be working. But are you envious of people who run red lights but don't get in accidents? Step off the curb against the light and don't get hit? Steal or drive drunk and don't get caught? Unless he lost both his hands in an accident and can't 'take care of himself', he has no excuse. There are safe ways to do this - he chose otherwise and will pay.

No, and we've already pretty much covered the fact that there are less expensive, "safer", surer ways to play in LV....MfSD.

I'll respond to anything I choose to, whether it's directed to BH, me, or anyone else...........MfSD.

That's why I called earlier this week BH, trying to figure out what the heck you were considering ( :

A possible alternative to this scenario, set up time with you lady of choice, preferably one of LVs lovely indys, have her wait for you in whatever bar or club feels right, and play out your pick up, seduction role play to your heart's content.

I did this, somewhat by accident with ebony porn star Sierra. She was at one of the Bellagio bars, called up to my room 15 minutes before our scheduled time, invited me down, and role played picking me up and taking me upstairs.........It didn't suck.........although she did  ( :

This is all about fantasy, and LV is the town to do it in. MfSD.

I am not big on the casino bar girl mentality. When Mars first started out in this business several years ago, she would be a weekend warrior-she can tell you all about it. Keep in mind this is one of the highest performing esocrts I've ever seen, but when she worked the bar, it was extract as much as you can in a minimum amount of time.

Girls approach me at casino bars all the time. I laugh it off, and tell them "You don't want me. First, I live here, second I'm a pretty demanding guy.*" Usually they're out of there sometime around midsentence.

Sometimes a connection is made, but I think you get better odds on the hard ways at dice.

* demanding in this context means is that you must spend more than 15 minutes with me

Ouch indeed! Damn! That is a real hardship, I really feel for you. I have done the same thing and it never crossed my mind. Thanks for sharing and helping us all out. Thanks also to Cindy for reaching out. Hope it works out ok.

I  made an earlier post about the bar gals.  Bottom line is unless you get lucky and make a good connection with a nice gal, you will just get hustled big time.  There are a lot of ignorant men who have lots of money out there and those are the ones that the bar gals are targeting.  Anyone on this site should know better.
I do feel bad for that guy but we must all learn from his errors if we don't allready know.
Good luck and be safe.
