I have lots of reviews and believe I can do a great job of making a provider feel comfortable.  I'll be seeing a few very well-reviewed indies at a very upscale strip hotel (Bellagio, Venetion, the Hotel at Mandalay.

Is it a breach of etiquitte to ask that she turn off her cell phone?  If I lay out the donation and there's no issue about her collecting, can I insist that she turn off her phone?  I hate being interrupted by the damn thing ringing....esp for $400 hour.  All these indies have given me cell phone #'s that are published in their ad, so it's guaranteed to be ringing during a 1.5-4 hour appt.

Is this unreasonable?

You shouldn't even have to ask .
Any top provider should know on her own that she should turn off her cell phone during a session .

your donations have nothing to do with her cell phone .
There is no reason to be interrupted by her cell phone .Your time is YOUR time and you should not be interrupted .

I always have my phone off during a session .It is the clients that sometimes have their phones on ...........but that is on them . ;-)

Enjoy your Vegas visit ,

This is your time.  You paid for it and deserve full attention. Most of the successful high end providers always turn off their phones.  If they refuse or interrupt my session with phone nonsense, I won't see them again.

If you are paying for her time, you should have her undivided anttention no matter what the price. Any provider who has a problem with that is unprofessional. It's your right to insist she at least put her phone on vibrate or silent and not answer it when she is with you.

I am always turning it off for appointments and no one can reach me by phone because of it.

but that won't stop them from leaving it on and ruining whatever mood you were in.  Usually happens with the clockwatchers since they don't like to watch the clock but someone will call them and let them know the time is almost up or already over.

Just to clarify.....my issue is that these girls all have given me their cell phone #'s and I've spoken with them.  Then I noticed that it is the same # as in their ad.  So it is a sure-bet that in 90-240 minutes, her phone will ring.
Do I sound like a potential axe-murderer if I ask them to turn off their phone?  It sounds like the consensus is no. Again, we'd be standing in a suite in an upscale strip hotel.  So it's not like I could start the chain-saw without getting the attention of hotel security.  Thank you all, esp Cindy & Kadi.  LOL.
