I live in Boston and will be visiting Las Vegas for New Years.. Can anyone tell me the name of some ranches to visit near by?

Sheris and The Chicken  Ranch are located in Pahrump. They are pretty much right next to each other. To get to them take state route 160  Angles is located in Beatty. To get to it take US 95. You will need a car to get to any of these raches. In my view your time and money will be better spent seeing one of the many fine independents  who work in Vegas.  You will get more for your money and a much more personal experince.

are little more than "prisons" (Mobile Homes/Trailers with barbed wire fences).

i agree with Big Poppa.  after you add up gas+travel time+ getting gouged at the "Ranch", you can have a much better time with a couple of indies in LV.  just look at the VIP review section under Las Vegas.
