So why hide behind an alias to make your point??????
Based on the longest thread I have ever seen (at least in a while), I would say there is a lot hostility about the ability of “posters” to use aliases. To me, anonymous as HBS1 is as anonymous as BS1. But I am only one and they are many. So – for my and perhaps others – what is the rule? Thanks.
the difference between a handle and an alias is that even though I may not know who is the guy with a handle name others may or maybe I will know of him .
Lets use Spinner as an example . Lets say I never met him . but I heard of him . He reviewed a few girls so I know he is a legit client . So what he says will count .
Another example , lets take BPP , I have met him and spiced him up !
I know who he is and I know he goes by BPP so when he makes a post I can trust what he says .
Now lets take you HBS1 - I don't know you , don't know who you are but when you post under your handle name I see you have reviewed ladies and I know who ( even though I don't know your real name ) is this person standing behind this post .
If you were to post under an alias then I don't know who you are and then it is easier to slam a provider and tell lies because know one knows who you are.
Now you'll say well I don't tell providers my handle name ..............well let me tell you most guys don't tell me their handle names either but when they write a review I very quickly figure out who they are
So do you see the difference between a handle name and alias ??
Dang SINdee, brains, beauty and ...{slap} boobs! You handle yourself so maaaaaaaavelously, darlin'!! *wink*
Your last comment is the exact reason that I very rarely write reviews on local ladies --- and why my handle is my alias
I do not disagree with you, I just see it through different glasses.
I do agree with you of course Cindy
I of course think someone should post under their normal TER handle, I want people to know who I am and what I have to say, but I really have no problem with an alias as long as it isn't a mean or hurtful post, but that is the biggest problem with them, seems like most guys or gals use them only to attack someone and that stinks.

..and in the words of the Fab Four, "Let It Be!"
They allow people to post more freely.
Of course TER handles are "aliases" in a sense but most handles
have reviews and a posting history. By allowing aliases, people
can state opinions that they wouldn't under their handle. A
prime example of this is the political board. Any "tool" such
as this can be misused but it still doesn't detract from its
usefulness.
Aliases should be taken with a grain of salt. No one is going
to believe an alias if they promote a provider or if the say
bad things about a provider - the alias is just not credible.
Here are some other facts/rules that might be of help:
1. Only TER handles (not aliases) are associated with reviews.
2. You are allowed as many alias as you want.
3. You aren't allowed to use more than one alias in a single
thread. Because then someone could say something and then
back it up and make it look like it was another poster.
This rule is enforced at the moderator's discretion - meaning
some post that violate it may slip through.
hobby on!

Clearly the cons are the ability to create a new name and use it to "attack" another poster. That's not cool this is suppose to be fun. Have differences move on, it happens everyday in this world, focus on the positive not the negative.
The Pro to us as a couple is we only need one account. I can post as Top and Kandi can post as Kandi or Mrs Top. That works for us. I' sure we are in a very, very, small minority here.

As I've said before:
The original purpose of this board was to exchange information to help people make a more informative decision in choosing an escort. The result was the formation of a growing community of individuals from all walks of life and differing values, who share a common interest.
This particular community has the ever increasing ability to affect an escort’s career either in a positive or a negative manner, depending upon her honesty, integrity and skill.
Unfortunately, it can be easily abused (due to the allowance of alias’s) by competitive providers and/or pussy-whipped clients to damage the hard-earned reputation of other providers and provides them with more than one voice with which to state their “opinion”.
I'm from NY, and I try to call out any alias who says anything
about a provider - good or bad. They try to complain but hey
if they have anything to say about a particular provider
then they can say it without an alias. If they do, we can
immediately see their reviews (or not if they don't have any).
The NY board has a wide variety of non-alias posters who alert
us to good and bad experiences.
Aliases are a useful tool. They shouldn't be used to say
anything about a provider. People use them to talk about
sensitive stuff on the boards - medical, legal, political.
Experienced posters - both providers and clients - need to hold
any alias poster (heck even non-alias posters) to task.

Given all that has been sasi - then why does TER not only allow – but actually facilitate the use of aliases?
That's a very good question.
very interesting question. It could be that they do not want to be a baby sitting service. It may be that people should take everything they read here with a grain of salt. Maybe, just maybe everyone should sit back and realize that this is not "reality", it is a world of prostitutes and johns, wrapped up in prettier packages and when you put yourself out there, then you have to take the good with the bad.
This whole thread started because one of the Vegas Elite had some not do flattering things said about her. Her White Knights jumped in and here we are days later discussing the whole matter again, if only veiled as something else. TER is a great place to read FICTION. As is TBD and The Hobbiest and the various other sites around the net. There are girls in this industry that do some pretty frightening things. BBFS, lie, cheat and even steal. They out their clients and screw over their contemporaries. It is a business where nothing is sacred. It is a hobby built on lies and deceit. And so someone with an alias pops up and makes a few comments that weren't glowing and everyone gasps~! Oh please, get a small grip on yourselves.
The lady in question has a reputation that will stand on it's own merit. Why not allow people to have their say about EVERYONE. It seems only when the Vegas Elite get brought into it that everyone gets up in arms.
You are a bunch of hookers and tricks, please quit trying to make it out to be MasterPiece Theatre. Start taking the industry back to when it was fun and people did not take themselves so damn seriously.
So why hide behind an alias to make your point??????
Does posting under my regular name make what I said any more valid? Why not just take the post for what it is worth...one persons opinion and nothing more.
This is where everyone loses site of the issue. Because one person is a frequent poster and has written good reviews does not make them any sort of upstanding human being. And on the flip side, just because a poster has something less than glamorous to say about someone does not make them a low life.
I know a great many of you personally and I have to say that for the most part, you all seem to be fairly upstanding. But your taste in women does not nessacarily coincide with mine, nor does your choice of friends. But hey, I still think you all are pretty decent. HB is right when he says that we all use alias' on this board. If we didn't then everyone would be using their real names. Stop taking it all so personally, this has nothing to do with anyones real life. It is a message board with a cast of charactors that would make any Berkley Psychology class proud to study.
Yes it does. Col. Klink had zero credibity in my book, we pick one name and should stick wtih it.
how self righteous people in this business/hobby can be. If you knew my real handle or even my name for that matter you would surely be singing a different tune. I know this because you already have.
It boils down to everybody needing to be up in everyone else's business. So this guy made one so-so remark about Nikki. You know it was bullshit, I know it was bullshit but did you ever stop to think for one teeny tiny moment something happened or was said that could have prompted him to say that? You know what your time with her is. As does any one of us who has spent time with her. Or any other lady for that matter. It has absolutely nothing to do with him using an alias. It has evrything to do with shunning him and giving him a hard time because his opinion does not coincide with yours. And it would be far easier for everyone to blast him from this community if you knew what his regular handle is.
Seriously folks, this is getting ridiculous. Just make the issue what it is. You all are pisse because someone said something unflattering about her. The thread becomes a whole lot more credible when you quit lying to yourselves and playing the White Knight and say "100 of us had a totally different experience, by those odds, CHANCES ARE that guy is full of shit"
It is really that simple.
So why do you hide behind an alias????? Why not come on out and say who you really are?????
Perhaps your line of thinking is right, however, to me and at least one other person if not others, the whole thing seemed like a set up. Some one post a who to see under an alias, then says some as you say BS things about Nikki.
The whole point here is so many people use alias to attack and put down others, that is the main problem. If you are going to say something say it behind who you are on the boards and stand by it. This has been pointed out numerous times in the various threads about this.
And if this is so ridiculous why are you keeping this thread going???? For me I'm done with this.
The statement about Nikki asking to be rated an 8 while she was performing a BJ...that was what ticked her off. It had nothing to do with the "opinion" about her looks.
Quite frankly, this issue about handles/aliases is being overblown. Cheers!!
But, not as something to hide behind while making slanderous remarks. That's just gutless!

But I think the only valid use of an alias is when there is potential harm to the poster. Like for instance the girls in Florida have been outing some nefarious guys latley. If they thought that there could be repercussions for theit posts they might be wise to use aliases to discuss the losers who are trying to take advantage of them or rob them etc...
The same could be true for a gentleman who feels threatened by a provider or agency but wants to warns us of some abuse or misdeed.
BUT beyond that the only explanation I can find is cowardice. I came to this realization last year when I thought about posting with an alias. I thought my view would have been unpopular and I considered getting an alias so I could make my post. But the more I thought about it I realized that if I didn't have the balls to post using my handle then I had no business posting. And since then I've watched people use aliases to try to harm a girl's business or a hobbyist's reputation more than once. So it seems often aliases are used to cover a vendetta or to promote discord. To me aliases are sa failing of this (or any other) board unless they are limited as I suggested above.
whether or not to use an alias, whatever the reason. Personally, I could care less, and I too am having difficulty understanding why this issue is so important to a number of posters on this board. But since TER has given the green light to use an alias, it seems to me that the "rule" on aliases is USE IT IF YOU WANT. I realize that the use of aliases bothers some people, and I am also aware that some of these concerns are reasonable. But until TER outlaws aliases (which would probably make these boards a good deal less interesting), I would suggest to all to go with the flow.
May the Great Alias RIP
What a great debate – thanks to all for a great discussion. But alas – no resolution. I do not think we heard from TER on this – interesting. So we all agree to disagree – OK?
Rest in Peace
Peace & Sex
I use my own aliases either to make a point, crack a joke, or because I feel it's better to be anonymous on a particular issue.
When I take swings at people, I feel they should know where the swing is coming from, so then I'll post under my account handle.
I don't have a real problem with it, because in the end, it does promote discussion, which is why we're here. But the system is from time to time subject to abuse, and I think that's where you're coming from.
