I did not interrupt her post as placing agencies in a bad light. I am glad that she did post and said something from the provider’s perspective. One of the agencies mentioned uses P411 for screening, with 10+ Oks in that system, I bet all they do if I were to call is check my profile (If even that) and maybe see that my Oks are recent. P411 does not cost anything to be listed and their ad rates are reasonable, even for LV.

A girl with enough gumption can do the same and make more money herself. An example, she sees 3 johns at 500/hr with the agency, she takes home what… maybe 300 for each job. Total for that afternoon 900, while as an indy she takes home 1200-1500 if her indy rate is between 4-500/hr. True her overhead is lower since she is not paying for ads or maybe even internet access and her time in screening/phone. But she still retains certain costs such as upkeep…hair, nails, beauty products and gas/cab fare and such. For some girls I guess the lower profit is worth it. I know some girls are just lazy and some are not business savvy, then there are those who are victims who want a pimp or related arrangement. And as Capo mentioned, some have busy lives and just want to call in when they are available.  I just value some of the Indies that I know, one of the reasons is for their courage in working this business on their own.

Any suggestions on where to go to inquire about joining? I don't want to be with an agency that pulls tricks, doesn't give a shit about their girls, and have no class...Does anyone know any local or even outside Las Vegas agencies to call about openings?

The one agency in Las Vegas that has been in existence for some time with no real complaints Im aware of..Which is saying something to say the least.
The owner posts here quite often btw

Why do you need an agency? You are just working for someone else. Giving them a percentage of money you just worked hard for.
Is it the work that goes into scheduling and screening?

Why would you want to give your hard earned money away to someone?  It's not that difficult to advertise, market, answer emails, and screen.
Why line someone else's pockets when you could line your own?
Why fade into the crowd of all the girls associated with an agency when you could shine standing solo and book more clients for yourself?

Definitely agree with Generalisimo.  I can't see the rationale for an agency at least in Vegas since you don't need drivers to service the strip hotels.

I started with an agency and went indie after 9 mos but I do miss some of the easy days of the past.  Ads, posting, photos, screening, answering the phone, e-mails, site memberships for screening.  I probably spend an hour on-line and doing these activities for every hour I spend with the a client.  And many of those things cost money as well.  If an agency is doing their job and representing properly, it's really worth it for some who aren't good at the admin. part or for those who prefer to show up pretty and fuck.  They work hard too, they just aren't in the room.   Not for everyone, but the best for some.
