It is important to note that if you do send an email to someone via the TER mail system she must have a paid VIP account to access your email. I think sending an email via her regular email would make more sense but that's just my opinion!!!

can someone please explain to me how to address mail to a provider using the TER mail system? Is it just the email address in the review?

John...You need to use her TER handle to send her an e-mail on the TER site. The e-mail address in her TER review is her regular e-mail.
Hope this makes sense.

It's true, if a provider doesn't have a VIP account, she can't view emails. I think once a provider has had a VIP account, the email box remains.

but I don't think you can send or receive PM's through TER unless your VIP account is current.

I wasnt really aware of how the mail system works... Do the providers out there feel buying a VIP membership is worth it to utilize this feature??

a) submit your website for site reviews.
b) ask the staff to link your profile to your username.
c) make sure the TER logo and link code you were given are on your website (first or second page).
d) white list someone.

I think the mods post a reminder every so often.  This is the last one I can find that Dingus15 did:

Providers who have reviews that are linked to their TER name, as well as the TER reviewed site logo on their frontpage can contact support for a LIMITED VIP membership. It's not a full VIP membership which will give you access to all reviews and the VIP tools but it does give you access to PM's and to your own reviews, and to white listings.

I pay for full membership monthly, I think its worth every cent. However, when I am touring for my own protection I leave all of my personal things at home. While I was touring last my membership expired and I had to wait until I got home to get access again. I am not sure if TER has tools in place that would allow you to convert from a full membership to limited access because I was not able to access the whitelisting at the most inopportune time. I contacted them about this so hopefully this won't happen again.

If a potential client tells you his TER handle, you can exchange PMs with him on TER and KNOW that he is actually the owner of that handle! That can be a big help in screening!

You just brought this thing full circle hun, I couldn't have said it better myself.

for the record, OC John has been so polite and fun to work with on screening and I was so pleased to see that he asked the community for help instead of giving up and and walking away frustrated.

In Dingus's thread link from Bob, you see how providers can maintain a limited VIP by having reviews and white listing gentlemen they have seen. I have white listed some of the guys I've met with. If more would take the time to email, I could white list even more.

I appreciate the system we have here so that we can verify and stay safe.
