Ok, although I'm in my 50s, I'm not experienced in the whole "provider, hobbyist" thing.  My only real experience is posting ads on CL before they got so diificult to post and having providers respond.  Biut, what I'm loking for is a an attractive mature woman to accompany me to Couples Oasis Wed pool party and the maybe Red Rooster or another party on Friday night.  In between, I'll be working.  But wading through all ads I keep running across the need for references.  And, some of the ads point me to websites to find out rates, only to find thazt the rates are way out of my ballpark.  So, how do I deral with the lack of references as an inexperienced guy, and what should I legitimately expect to pay for an afternoon or evening.  Thanksfor your insights

There are decent options in the sub $300/hour range as well as many in the $5-600/hour range and most points in between.  Screening methods are as varied as pricing.  My suggestion is to find someone that floats your boat and go from there.  Expect a couple negative or non responses based upon pricing or screening issues, but there really is no shortcut to homework.  If you want to try the easy out, ask others to tell you who to see.  Guys will shill for their favorites even if in a well meaning way and ladies will self promote to deal with summer being a typically slow season.  Maybe it'll provide fruitful, but it usually doesn't.

I just tried it and got a security certificate warning.  something has changed with the website since last week

And there is not reason why it would be unsafe to visit. It is a private club, to which you pay a yearly membership. It's BYO. It's couples only. There is nothing illegal about it. People use condoms!!! Very safe... hope you're not just starting an unfounded rumor...

lets try this approach

1) If you don't already have it, get VIP. This will help you in your search.

2) Go to Las Vegas Ads board on this site and browse current listings

3) Take a look at lady's TER profile, reviews, pics, packages

4) Choose those who are in your opinion are both attractive and mature AND fit your budget.

5) Contact them via email and say something like this

"Dear Miss XYZ, I'm loking for  an attractive mature woman to accompany me to Couples Oasis Wed pool party and the maybe Red Rooster or another party on Friday night.  I would love if you could join me for X hours from Xpm till Ypm.  What is your availability on these nights?

I don't have any references but willing to provide you with required screening information, such as name, last name and employment verification."

It takes not an insignificant amount of chutzpah to ask board poster to do your work for you and then complain they haven't done enough.

If you have dinner at a friend's house and ask for more food, you are complaining that the amount given to you was insufficient.  When you ask for help from the board and then ask for more, you are complaining that you didn't get enough.  Your post remains up and people can respond to it if they so desire.

Is asking for help okay?  Absolutely, but neither your original post or the subsequent one provided much in the way of detail to guide a recommendation, as Lina's post indicated.

Did I complain that someone hadn't done enough?  No, I did not.  Nor was I asking anyone to "do my work for me."  I have almost no experience with this and was hoping to get some advice from guys that are more experienced than me; possibly even someone who has gone this route for a companion at one of the clubs.

You criticizing the Nation is one thing, do it to your hearts content.  Although, if on balance you find more to criticize than compliment, I would wonder what you are doing living here.  There is no shortage of people willing to take your place.

When the POTUS does it, it is a very different matter.  He is the Chief Executive of the Nation.  It is his sworn duty represent the interests of the Nation in all matters.  

So if you are a chief executive working for a company, do you begin your presentations by saying what a crappy product your company makes?

I do find it curious why those on the left seem to be unable to have a discussion about BHO without devolving into vitriol.

A. I don't work for or listen to Righty Radio, I find their vitriol disturbing.  Just like I find your vitriol disturbing.
B. I don't project my faults onto anyone, whatever that means.
C. I am not a fan of Sarah Palin, is she the dumbest person in America? I don't think so.  I would agree that she is not now nor likely ever to be Presidential timber, but BHO isn't either and neither was John McCain.  Don't get me started on GWB.  The one compliment I would give to Ms. Palin is that she can personally connect with a political audience better than perhaps any recent politician.  Certainly since Reagan and maybe you have to be back to JFK or FDR.  But Reagan had a strong political philosophy backing up his charm, Ms. Palin by comparison is all hat and no cattle.
D. I have calmly, respectfully and without cursing or SHOUTING addressed the opinions you have expressed.  
E. If you have a need to respond to this, I would like to know why there is such anger communicated in your responses.

Thanks to the ladies who kindly responded offering to accompany me.  And thanks to the first couple of folks who posted.  To the other two who stole the discussion board, I can only say you made me sorry I ever posted.  For your sakes, I hope people in your lives are not as rude and mean spirited as you appear to be.

For screening, prepare a small "hobby resume", state your name, email and phone number, offer some provider names you have seen if you have any (they will need to have contact information, ideally, in this order; a website, an email or a phone number. You should also contact them first and ask them if you can use them as a reference), and / or your employment information ( a lot of guys complain about this, but when I've done it it was quite painless, they call, ask for you and say they are from a doctors office), and write a short paragraph about yourself and what you are looking for.  Be discrete. Your ability to convey what you want without being explicit will go a long way to improving your chance of passing screening.  When you email them do not send it as an attachment, copy and paste it into the email.

Regarding affordable companions, you will need to do a search of the reviews and on the board.  To search the reviews you will need VIP.  There you can search for multiple items all at once, age, price, ratings, whatever.  On the board you will need to ask for a subject or an author. Make sure you set the date range to be of sufficient range.

But to be honest your request seems inconsistent.  You are asking for a date to go to two open group affairs; which is not consider a newbie activity.  Also you are cleary asking for multi hour dates, which combined with the group activity is going to cost you, most likely in the range of 1k to 2k.  That sounds inconsistent with your claim that the web site prices are out of your range. (I mean what did you expect?)  If you are new at this I would recommend you respond to the ladies that have posted on this thread.  Make a one hour appointment with at least one, and talk to her / them about what it is like going to these parties.  I would think you would want to be familiar with the girl before going to an event like the ones you are proposing.

Thanks for the very good advice.  I see how my info might seem inconsistent.  I'm not a newbie in swinging--I've been going to Swingers Clubs as a single guy for many years.  I just haven't done the whole provider thing often.  I've only answered one CL ad, and that wasn't in Vegas, and it was before I discovered TER, so have no idea if she was reviewed or not.  I have posted CL ads in the past when visiting Vegas, and twice set up dates with women providers who answered my ad.  The agreed donation in each case was less than $500 for a multi hour date at the Red Rooster, so I was a little overwhelmed by the $2000 type figure I saw on many ladies rate pages as I was going thru ads.  

So, maybe that helps put my post in persepective.  Thanks again for your post.  It was helpful.
