The most hip and glamorous place on the strip

I stayed at the Cosmo once and it is a great hotel with a lot of nice new amenities inside the room. I also love the balconies.

I'm planning my initial Hobby experience in February. Any hotel recommendations?
Someplace nice that providers can access easily

I have not stayed downtown for a long time; but hear very good things about the new places there. New food places and Hotels.

As for the Strip and Hobbying....
If you prefer the lady to come straight to your room, then you need the following

1. TheHotel  (easy access from parking, no security, nice rooms)
2. Mandalay Bay
3. PH
these are the 3 I can think of, with no security.

Now if you like to meet your friend down in the casino, at a bar

1.  Wynn/encore (just the best most elegant option)
2. Cosmo: Very young, high energy crowd (WAIT: I think they removed their elevator key card security, but have people in place at nights)
3. Palazzo: very nice open casino, 2 bars close to elevators (can even meet on second floor bar and shop area....less people and easier to see each other). Also self parking is so easy

play safe and enjoy and most of all have fun.

In fact, with a little coordination with the lady, I'm not sure if there's ANY Casino/Hotel that needs to be avoided. Do you really think "non-hobby related" friends can't visit you in your room?   Now keep in mind, whether or not there is "security" at a hotel elevator can change.  So the list below may not be totally accurate today.  But to say there are only a "few" is NOT accurate.

Been a while since last visit and just though they all had a guard check for a key card at the elevators?
I picked the Excalibur which seems to have the most & rudest lol

Agreed,
I was just trying to give a few examples of hotels that I remember having security at Elevators and the ones that did not.

OK so I picked a hotel with rude security (lol) and I have a couple of dates meeting me at my hotel. I am guessing I will have to go downstairs and meet her? Do the guards give you any crap as long as I have my key card and she dresses like a tourist?

It doesn't matter how she dresses. She's your guest. not going to give you the inquisition for who you have up there, As long as she's with you

C'mon Man, you're talking Vegas, bro!!  It ain't called Sin City just 'cause of the gamblin'!!

Just draws attention if a hick from the woods is going upstairs with a hot young lady 1/2 my age dressed to kill! My point was more just blending in so not to make it so obvious

If this is still a concern for you:

Go to the front desk.  Tell them you lost your key.  They'll deactivate it, and give you a new one.

Check the old key.  Make sure it doesn't work any more.

Now you can give this old key to the lady, and she can come up by herself.

I usually stay at the LVH to avoid this hassle.  But sometimes I stay somewhere that requires a key flash.  However, it's been my experience that the elevator ride up can be rather...stimulating, if you have the privacy

No security on the elevators, so no hassles there.

It's kind of off-strip, so driving there is easy.  And parking is easy too.

Has a monorail stop, so it can be accessed easily that way.

Inexpensive, but not someplace you'll be embarrassed to invite someone to.
