As further evidence, as if we needed more, of the duplicity of LE, I offer this.

Ive been told by more than one independent over time, who dont live in Las Vegas btw, they have close personal or professional relationships with cops.

These women have no reason to make up stories like this so I tend to take them at their word.

On the other hand, relaxing prostitution laws compleletly would require a whole new set of rules, not something government has shown its' good at implementing or administrating in so many areas. This would just be one more thing they would screw up.

Plus there is the issue of the very high quality professional women, some of whom frequent TER. Ive often mused about the situation with these people and how they would make out in a new world. I dont think very well. I think they could be hurt by the relaxing of laws as it would open the doors to all kinds of new competition and just drive down prices. These women may just better off, when all is said and done, with the situation as it is now.

Sorry , I got a little of topic but its all part of the big picture I think. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Well... I certainly miss the "View All" option to see what is going on with all of the comments...

Regardless... You have somebody who got busted turn in a cop to get a lighter sentence.

Personally... in this day and age... there are MUCH bigger things to be focusing on...

If anything... Metro should be focusing in on the services all over Craigslist that are ripping tourists off in Vegasland and giving Vegas a bad name.

There is certainly no Shortage...

DUH! Found out how to "View All" on a Thread... Just switch from Tree View to Flat View btw... I must have been wasted when I wrote this.

If I were in her shoes, I think I'd get out of town fast.

Do you think Metro would have agreed to set this guy up if he worked in their own department? Not a chance. I hope Henderson PD stings a Metro cop to even the score for breaking the code.

I feel for the guy, but he should have gone with a higher class of escort. Not too smart telling her he was a cop either.

Can't really blame the guy here aside from the CL bit.  I imagine that most providers know a regular's occupation if they see him often enough.  The girl seems to have been in such a bad predicament that she would have outed anyone in her rolodex.  The cop was just a convenient target who was available that night.  It would have been him or someone else.

According to Freakanomics a lady is more likely to meet a cop as a client than be arrested by one.  To me the only difference between a cop and a criminal is an existing police record.

a 95 year old lady died last week after two young girls tried to rob her,   we have had three police shootings this week alone, highest unemployment rate in the country, number one in foreclosures.... And this is what my tax dollars are paying for.  I think metro could find a few other things to focus on.
And for the record, the bitch should have lept her mouth shut. It just ain't cool to out a client, I don't care who he is or what kind of break you get on your charges.

she must have been his ATF; double bummer!

Damn... Should have been a cop in Clark County so I could cruise around in a Escalade getting laid off of CL for $100...

Aria Bar Trollers are charging normal Joe's around $1,000.... LOL!
