You might want to check out one of the verification sites such as date-check or P411 that will verify you.Once you are a member you can search for reputable ladies who are newbie friendly.Going with a lady who does not screen is quite risky and might not be something you want to do.You are on the right site that has a wealth of info to a newbie also where you can research and find plenty of reputable ladies here.

I did exactly what you proposed, saw a few ladies that did not require, kept their numbers, asked them when I completed my date if they would verify, called them a few days before requesting an appointment from a provider that required, went smooth as silk.  I also found if you take the time to prepare a list of references, with a description of something that would remind them of when you met, being subtle and descrete, and prepare an appointment request with a description of your situation it helps.  I was told by three different providers that my effort to prepare a well written reference list and appointment request helped with my screening.
