Yep, same storms came thru my area as I was walking (proceeded to walk very fast) home from the bus to my place. The bolts were like about 4 miles away from me but going from cloud to cloud. As soon as I got in my place, I grabbed my flashlight and 10 minutes later, the winds starting howling to where I lost my electric, cable, phone, and internet for about 2 hours. Gee and I found it funny that NV energy sent me an outage alert until 6AM but i had no way to see such alert due to no electric (and no i dont want it seup on my cellphone). At least it was at night when it wasnt too hot but you get bored after awhile staring at the ceiling
