happen that prevent an escort or a hobbyist from keeping a scheduled appointment and doesn't necessarily mean that the person cancelling is a flake. In my 8 years of escorting, I have cancelled 2x-once because I had a bad cold and it lasted longer than I thought it would and the 2nd time because my mother died and I was busy organizing her funeral. Life happens and I always try to give the other person the benefit of the doubt, the same as I'd like them to do for me. If it happens more than once, than I put them down as being unreliable and just move on.
Stay safe everyone and enjoy!

I was cancelled by a highly regarded and well reviewed provider for a dinner date at the last minute on my recent trip to Las Vegas. Is this a common occurrence?
I get canceled on too last minute ...but by highly regarded and well respected men of society. Ironic, huh?
But,things do come up sometimes that means one has to cancel happens on both sides of the coin.
It always sucks when a last minute cancellation occurs for providers as well as gents but sometimes it is out of a person's control.

Did she give you a reason?
A dinner date is often for four hours or more, so I cant see a provider cancelling a good session like that, unless a better offer came up, or for some sort of personal problem. Family, medical etc.
I am pretty sure more clients cancel or dont show up, than providers.
Did she call/email/text to cancel or just flake. ?? As there is a big difference between the two.
Last minute as in minutes before ? hours before ? other ?
Why is it so hard for Gents to understand highly regarded or well reviewed doesn't mean she is going to show up.
Since reviewing a cancellation or no show isn't possible , hard to say what is "common"
and it may be more common regarding a certain lady...........but no one can really know as there is no accurate way to report this.
Does it happen ? Yes it happens.
Do people with other types of jobs not go to work sometimes due to getting sick , or their kid got sick and they couldn't get a sitter . or whatever the reason they don't go to work.
Are providers immune to life problems ??
common ?? some may say yes , some may say no .
I say, it depends who you are talking about.
As a well reviewed provider myself if I had to cancel a dinner date , I would do my best to help the gent to find someone else. Did she offer to do that for you ?
On the flip side sometimes the Gent does or says something that may freak the lady out that makes her reconsider the date.
In the end from the ladies point of view - better safe then sorry.
Since we don't know your whole story , hard to answer your question in black or white.
but hope this gives you some insight.

To answer your question, Cindy, the cancellation was 3 hours before the appointment and she did not offer to find someone else.
Both appointments were for longer dates (one an overnight), both had been very professional in their screening process and had traded multiple emails (flirty from both sides) and both cancelled within an hour of set appointment times. Both are still on the boards and get average reviews that are over 8.5.
Was I frustrated? you bet! Did I have to scramble? you bet... but will I make appointments again in the hopes that they will actually pan out? ABSOLUTELY. Obviously I don't feel comfortable contacting those ladies... both had "excuses" that seemed valid at the time.. but who really knows.
It just seems like either a crap shoot or an adventure depending on how you look at it. Me, I prefer to look at it as an adventure!!!!!
Looking forward to seeing some of you lovelies on my next trip!!!!
Its not common but it happens. The more you partake in the hobby the more likely it is you will run into it sooner or later. It's always good to have a back up plan. There are always providers that are available at the last minute especially if they know you. If you don't have those types of relationships, then the easiest thing to do is get hooked up with HH private collection and or 100 Proof. Get pre approved and you should be able to end your evening on a happy note with just an email or phone call .
I see many ladies on P411 will visit on short notice.
It is an approval service, so once your are verified it will make life easier for all involved.
Also, if you try and get a date on short notice, let her know why you are calling for last minute date - she may be more accommodating (just guessing here, as I am FAR from being a provider).

There was a gent that had been cancelled on and he posted a ISO here for a provider he was upfront that he was cancelled on.I ended up seeing him and had one of the best dates ever. You never know unless you try maybe it works out maybe it doesn't.
I also do agree P411/Date-Check makes things easier for a last minute or same day appointments if a provider schedule allows it.I usually don't do same day appointments but if my schedule allows I will for P411/Date-Check members only and on a rare occasion a ter member with references.

Maybe she had a regular call and offer her 40 grand to fly short notice to NYC for a week. Providers are business women.
I do tell the client the REAL reason I had to cancel and it's largely because someone offered me a much longer/more lucrative appointment. My clients are super understanding and catch me their next time around. I'm not going to turn down an overnight or a multi day for a 1-2 hour. And my regulars who I have seen for a decade always get precedence over a client I have never seen.
I never cancel for dumb reasons like car or sick child. I'd take a cab to the appointment and the child can go to the hospital and wait for me.
Just kidding!!!

I do appreciate your response however this was not just a 1-2 hour appointment, it was a dinner date. As a result I may have to start double booking then because I should not have to scramble at the last minute.
