Does anyone have any intel on fun places in Vegas to watch the fight?  All the MGM owned resorts are doing screenings for $165.00 and up, but I'm interested to see if anyone knows places off the strip?  I'd be happy going to a locals type place, or somewhere in Downtown as well.

Miller's in Henderson has it for $50.00, but they won't sell advance tickets so I'd rather not take my chances.

Sophia's, Deja Vu, & Sapphire have it if any gents want to see it in a strip club.  The tickets are pricey, but most of them include drinks and food.

Thx!

I heard yesterday a guy in promotions was found dead with in hours of stating to the media that the fight is rigged... which I think most people already guessed about Mayweathers fights.

Don't think ill bother to watch this one.

Just buy the PPV and stream it. If you want to go all-out, you can throw your own party. You'll probably wind up drunker and in better company.

The PPV ( http://www.ufc.tv/video/mayweather-vs-mcgregor ) is 99 bucks, and I doubt they'll be including $66 worth of booze at any of these viewing parties.

The PPV is actually blocked for hotel rooms on the strip...  so thats not an option :(

AirBnB to the rescue if you'd like to buy it through a cable provider.

The link I posted would allow you to stream it to whatever device has a UFC app, like an Amazon Fire Stick or Apple TV.

Even if you are using a VPN?  The hotel has no clue what you are doing. That aren't actively watching your stuff. They couldn't.

He's talking about the cable PPV event. It would be difficult to block the stream because it's coming from one of a number of CDN's that may or may not be hosting UFC content.

Though you're correct, if you're at a hotel that's blocking anything, you can usually get around the block with a VPN, and using a VPN in a hotel is a good idea anyway.

I travel for a living....  I'm not sure I trust hotel wifi to support a stream.  Also..  I'm in vegas solo...  I'd rather be out and about seeing it with other humans :)

Other humans are usually over-rated, but I can see the draw. Loneliness is such a drag.

What'd I'd do in your case would be to pony up the ~300 bucks and buy me and a provider tickets someplace nice, and work out a deal for an hour or two after the fight with her. That way, no matter who wins, you're winning for sure.
