Any tips Zach or from anybody else? I did have a plan B ~ in that I had other picks lined up, in case during the initial contact, the ladies were unavailable, I would move on. But when everything is re-confirmed day before and they cancel day of, about 3-5 hours before the appointment (late night affairs), it's hard to find a replacement (screening, last minute, etc.).
In addition, I would find it rude, to use another lady as a backup. There's no way you can secure her, without making an appointment right? Then if your plan A goes through, you bail on her?...
I do understand it's a business ~ so it's OK to E-mail a bunch of providers, check their availability (test the waters) and go with the one that suits you best. However, if the commitment is made, I would expect both her and I, to keep the commitment and refuse other appointments.
Sorry, a little confused and maybe new at this backup plan thing.
Cheers!
Needing to vent - not pissed, just disappointed. Got ditched twice in Vegas, two separate nights, both well reviewed ladies. Will withhold names, since it was just a NS ~ we did communicate throughout via text. Both appointments made approximately a week in advance and re-confirmed the day before.
Lady A: Texted her around 4 pm day of to confirm. During dinner time, received a reply she would be late (due to a birthday party) and whether it would be OK. Said sure. 2 hours before our "new" scheduled time to meet, came another text to postpone our date to next morning so she won't need to rush. Fine ~ asked her what time. An incomprehensible text came back ~ tried to follow-up twice, but no response.
Lady B: Day of - again msged to confirm and check whether perhaps we could meet a little earlier. Replied back to apologize - but that she had to go out of town... Uhhh!?!?! HOWEVER, to her credit, she did find another girl to replace her and I give her props for that. The meeting with the replacement girl did go well and I promised I would review her once she gets her profile together (was on TER before, retired, bk in the game, but deciding whether she should change stage names).
Ultimately - wish the ladies would know our time is important too. I am not baller, did not book multi-hours or anything, but was cordial and gentlemanly throughout. Confirmed day before, only to get ditched twice day of. Disappointing not being able to see your chosen picks two days in a row, plus, hard to hunt for a replacement and get screened so last minute.
On a separate note, would like to give Zach a shout-out at LV100Proof. I texted him quite late, around 11:30 pm to see if he could provide someone. Too late to be screened of course - but he was super polite and very accommodating. Cheers to you Zach! (I would have booked Fallen if she was still around).
It is a bummer, but when it happens to me, I just sigh and think about all the money I saved.
if you do get a no show, and you figure it was meant to be, as she got sick, or had to go out of town suddenly, or a family emergency. I can handle that. What is annoying is that after an excuse, you decide to head to a strip casino for some gambling, and there she is at the craps table with a "high-roller" having a good time. This is what happened the day I was told about TER, and my buddy was pissed that she stood him up. Yep, good things have happened to me in Vegas. At that point we made out way to the strip clubs, on him.
Kim and Angel: thank-you for the advice, I will look into the verification services. Vegas would have been my first independent experience as in LA, I've been using agencies. Hoped to build my referral up, guess not! ![]()
ILOVEWOMEN: Yeah, I wouldn't tell them about "Plan B" either. But you are right, I'm sure there are many choices in Vegas and if they don't care about us, why are we so worried? Glad your Plan B worked out ~ life is strange sometimes, what is meant to be, was meant to be.
velalover: That's the risk I thought about it, I don't want to be on some DNS list!
PS: I have received several PMs about names regarding the NS ladies. Again, no names, since it was NS only and Lady B did at least find someone to cover for her. However, I don't mind looking out for fellow hobbyists (that's what TER is for) and if you have a trip planned soon, you can give me the names of your ladies and I'll tell you whether it's them or not. I don't want you to avoid them completely, they are well reviewed and yup, shiet does happen. ![]()
Cheers!
Think of the money you've saved AND call ZACK in advance and get pre approved next time before your trip. I've never had the opportunity to use his services but I got pre approved last year so I know if I ever get jammed up I can make that late night call.
Ok, this is possibly going to cause a bit of a fire, but what the hell. After reading your post, and assuming that everything is true, I think it might be wrong to NOT let people know about who it was. This IS a business for these ladies. If I had an appointment that was made, in advance, AND confirmed day of, within a couple of hours of the scheduled time, then I would fully expect to keep that appointment. I fully understand emergencies, and those sort of things, but the first ones excuse of a birthday party is LAME. She obviously knew of the birthday, its not like a birthday comes up last minute!! Second lady obviously got a last minute appointment for an out of town date, which will of course pay more than what you were probably going to be doing, but, and I am talking business here, that ISN'T good business, REGARDLESS of the amount of money she is going to make. There was a set date, which had been confirmed by BOTH parties. Now, if anyone conducted regular business that way, then they wouldn't be in business very long.
I have always shown great respect for the ladies here. I know there are a few bad apples in every bunch. But this should not have happened. ESPECIALLY two days in a row. And ESPECIALLY in Vegas.
Again, this is all assuming that this is the truth. There are always two sides to a story. But still, I think, in this case, you should let people know.
Ok, I await the responses that this might generate.
Amen Brother!! Its good to see another hobbyist become jaded finally. lmfao
For that, I have removed you from the Mangina list. lol
