Had an appointment setup with Marie Styles. All communications were done via e-mail. She said we were good to go, but when the time came and went. She never showed up. No text, call or e-mail. Just plain flaked. I tried to let everyone know by posting a review, but TER would not post it. They said that since we did not meet face to face I could not post my review.
I think this is not right. This will be my only post here, I have canceled my membership. I will go to another site that is completely honest. We should be able to get all the info on the providers before we choose them.
I have never met Ms. Styles, but this is the first I have heard of her flaking. It does happen, I wish gals would communicate.
Find someone who appreciates your business. Having your time wasted is never fun. Sorry, but do not let it damage you from future fun!
... I don't think you're likely to find "greener pastures". Yea, it sux that she NCNS on ya. SHIT HAPPENS! When did this happen? I dunno, but maybe she wasn't in a mood for cyanide!
Overall, I'd say it's rare that an established gal does this. Please don't judge the otherwise outstanding bevy of quality ladies on the actions of ONE!!
I mat her back in March. At the appointed hour she was not there. Called and texted her to see what was up. She responded after a while about something coming up. She offered to come over immediately if it was OK with me. Luckily I had the time free and it was a memorable session.
I've seen Marie once a couple of years ago and she showed up (a little late but things happen). She was good about emailing and texting. She's an established girl so it would seem outside the norm for her to start flaking.
I can see your point about not being able to put up a review for NCNS but I can see TER's view for keeping reviews only for if you've met face to face. I think taking it out on TER by canceling membership is premature as it is not their fault for her no show. I've had a couple of no-shows, but the value but the ratio of good sessions due to the info I got from reviews from TER easily out-weigh the no shows.
I do agree there needs to be some type of way to track these. Maybe a separate board for now shows. But a least reporting it here will give the chance for the girl to give he side of the story

I've met Marie on a number of occasions and never had a problem. But that's neither here nor there since this didn't happen to me. But I have been as Sonny Corleone would say left coming out of the bathroom with just my **** in my hand more then once. I learned along time ago to have a plan B.
There are a number of ladies that can be good to go on short notice as well as 100 proof. Always plan in advance for such obstacles.
And finally there are other sites that one can express a grievance that's true. But it seems to me that since you did have the opportunity to express your grievance on a discussion board on TER and got quite a response, why leave it just because you couldn't put a no show in a review?

...at the very least, I would expect that the new date come at a rate discounted for the cost of the hobbyist's hotel room.
Not all Vegas hobbyists are out-of-towners who would have been staying in our hotel anyway. Even those who are may be traveling with friends and not want them to know about our "secret favorite casino game", and so book another room at another hotel.
If the NCNS girl craps out on you, I think she has to make some kind of show of good faith like this. We all know that if for some reason we NCNS'd a provider, we would probably have to pay quite a large cancellation charge on top of the going rate for a "do-over".
This stuff should be a two-way street.
I never give a provider a second chance. I just simply move on. Oh, I also don't run to the local board and complain about it. It's a fact of the hobby. If I decide to engage a plan B, it's usually with a provider I've seen before. I'll make a call, see if she has an opening . I would NEVER, double book, even in Vegas.

Ive heard nothing but great words of Marie styles and I believe her to be very reputable but human too.(as we all are)
I have had my fair share of needing to cancel same day and most men are very kind..Notnc /ns but on the 11th hour cancellation
I don't candone(misspelled) lol.. no Nc/Ns provider/hobbyist situation..
I personally can say.. I have had the same treatment from hobbyists..
If they cancel with a certain amount of time it is understandable.. life is life.. I allow for margin f error.
yet, I will not post how many blasé scenarios of "Im sick" or "Im leaving early from as vegas ..sorry,catch ya next time" that's the best!! wink

Please before anyone gets to upset at ladies lets remember there are 2 players in this game.. If some one does you wrong. it may be a definte downside to that ladies image but it goes two ways..

car accident en route to appointment.. there are mny drunks behind the wheel of the las vegastrip,,or even worse
a broken cellphone.. or a cell phone that may have been stolen ?(I keep reading about stolen phones on here .now that scares me .. )

Whether it be a client or provider, I can see very few excuses for not calling if you have to cancel an appointment. Or at least sending a text or e.mail.
Yes things happen in life, and sometimes it cant be helped.
But to just not show up is very bad, IMO.
And like I said, that goes for clients and providers.
I think both sides have the right to come here and name anyone who no shows.
But only after a few days.
Give the other person a chance to explain why they did not show up. There are a few valid reasons.
But if they don't get back to you, then name and shame. End of.
Happy to say I have never no showed, and neither have any of the ladies I have met on more than 30 occasions.

I am sorry I don't care who it is ( on either side ) the only 2 reasons to NSNC is because you are laying in a hospital bed or you are in jail.
Other then that , there is no excuse for it .
with so many ways to communicate, there is always a way to let a person know .
Now I am not talking about someone calling or emailing last minute to cancel .
I am talking flat out NSNC.
I never had anyone NSNC on me ....... well ,I did have one gent, but he died the night before we were suppose to meet....... so he had a good reason .

BUT if someone would NSNC , and they didn't have a good reason , they wouldn't get a second chance.
I would NEVER NSNC , and if I did , then the Gent shouldn't give me another chance.
The fact that Gents do give a second chance .....again not talking about cancelations or last minute cancelations I am talking flat out NSNC ..........well that just sends a message .......

I once had a provider refuse to see me because I was 10 minutes late getting to her incall. And refused to see me then or ever again based on that. I tried to write a review on her, but TER would not take it because they said you could only review Providers you have actually seen. I think like other commenters her that there should be some section where you can report no shows (Both ways) or people who did like Jayla did to me. I mean, other than getting your money ripped off what is worse than gertting your time and traveling expense ripped off? Even a section where you can just note "no show".
