Based on your reviews performance rating you should reconsider and start paying listed prices...lol

Recently I saw a thread from a provider complaining about many hobbyist trying to negotiate her rates. Many other providers added their thoughts about how they also disliked these attempts. Of course several hobbyist chimed in saying this was how business was done and that the providers were in a business and should expect this if they were going to be in business. The providers rightfully pointed out  all the time that was required to answer phone calls, emails, screen, etc. then to have the hobbyist try and negotiate down their rates. I then suggested that maybe hobbyist should submit an ISO in the form of, what my company calls, a RFB ( request for bid). This RFB would include time, place, length of time, qualifications of provider, ( TER rating minimums ) age, nationality, and any other criteria that was important to the hobbyist. The hobbyist would give a dead line to submit a bid and a time that he would respond to same. This would allow providers to respond by private mail with a simple Im available and my donation is ________. They could decide to lower their published rate if that week or day or for whatever reason they would like a little extra business. This could save the provider time with a simple response and could save the screening process until an acceptance was received from the hobbyist. This would also save the hobbyist from trying to contact several providers to see who was available when he was looking for someone.  Also the discounted rate, if there is one, would not be public so that the provider would be pressured to give that rate to everyone.
OK, warm up the tar and starting plucking those chickens and let me know how out of line this thought is. Oh, and by the way Im going to be in Vegas in March and if Im not roasted to bad I may try it then.

Don't you think both pride and ego would prohibit escorts from marketing in this manner?  That's my short answer to your long-winded idea.

A Place for a guy to post what he is looking for, when and how much he is willing to shell out, and how much screening he is willing to go threw, And he can have the girls clamming to see him?

Well now doesn't this sound like a Fantastic Idea....

No, NO I fully expect the lady to tell me a price and I fully expect to provide all screening she would always expect.I have NEVER asked for a lower price and have almost always left a tip.

you better change your handle to KFC, because you're about to be thrown in the bucket !

...look for a cut-rate surgeon too?

You get what you pay for.  Trying to haggle a with a lady makes no sense.  So you, essentially, insult her by telling her you don't think she is worth what she is asking... THEN expect first class service if she DOES see you?

Those must be really good drugs.

MVR

No haggling intended. Only thought some ladies might use this method for days or times that are slow. Also from a previouse post that this might save them some time.

Have ALWAYS paid lised price and sometimes more!!

I have a hard time viewing hobbying in the same light as requesting bids to paint my house. That's a cold selection process man, and I want warmth. I'm sure a lot of people, providers included, want to keep these transactions as impersonal as possible, and this approach might work for them. I seem to recall seeing a lot of these type RFB's on Craigslist. You could try it here, but I suspect you won't get many offers. I could be wrong.

as just that. Service. Rates stated up front. I have the option of choosing another retail locale if i don't care for the price within one locale.

Bids belong within the 'Trades' genre. Bids are to be 'closed' or they become unethical in nature. I am a businessman who submits bids. I will NOT be schmoozed(coerced actually) down by an unethical client using other open bids as ammunition.

As a businessman when you provide a bid, anything not included becomes a change order for additional costs, in this industry it's call upselling and nobody likes that.

"Priceline for Pussy"......to the OP, not cool, not cool!!!!

Sometimes some of the prices on TER have not been updated for a while and no website is available. So...I would call and give the 'time date, place and duration' to the provider in question and ask for a price (if she would feel comfy talking about it).
Sometimes the price quoted is lower than my expectations, and guilt being what it is with me...I'll pick up a VS gift card as a token of appreciation. Just me...

You've obviously died and been reincarnated in Mexico as an "Ugly American", whose self-appointed duty is to play this bargaining game where nobody really wins. Providers have the innate right to charge appropriate to their needs..mortgage, car payment, wardrobe, family, taxes, etc....the same shit we all face on a day-to-day basis. To negotiate is merely a message sent that says "I don't value you as a businesswoman and I know better than you what your responsibilities are". Little wonder we're so often looked at as self-indulgent, male chauvinists who care about only one thing..Me,Me,Me. I would venture to say that your experience with a provider would be much enhanced by exhibiting a bit more respect, and 'paying the Piper' for a true slice of heaven. Negotiate?...Nah...

Read the post. I never said I was negotiating rates. I said it would give the ladies a chance to fill some time without all the normal time spent. If they are not interested they are not interested and no need to respond to request. By the way I've spent considerable time in Mexico including owning property and doing business with them for years. Maybe look in mirror for your ugly american!

"I never said I was negotiating rates".....your quote above

Then why is your title? ----> negotiating rates

Like I said....."Priceline for Pussy".....you get what you pay for.

The thing is, though, is the hotel's already sold the inventory to Priceline/Hotwire, who get to send it out for bids.

Hmmm, if providers sold their "inventory" to someone else to sell at a discount, that would make that someone else a...
