There was a Baseball All Star Game / Local Sports Radio remote at Sapphire strip club on Tues. July 15. I hadn't been to this club in a few years so I gave it a try. I got there at 7pm, went inside, walked to the bar & ordered a domestic bottle of beer. The bar tender got it for me & said (w/a straight face)"that will be $11.50" I shit myself. I was pissed, the bartender sympathized but what could he do? He didn't set the price. I paid, slammed it, & walked out never to return....Greed kills........
The next time you go into a casino on the strip(a major one), go buy a beer or a drink without gambling. Don't be surprised at the prices, which will not be that far off of what you paid for at Sapphire. The only difference is that at a strip club, they have you by the short and curlies. You are there to see the girls, and they know that the money being spent there is usually discretionary. Strip clubs have always been at the high end of the spectrum when it comes to pricing on alcohol. The day that the strip club became a "Gentlemans Club" was the day of the serious price hike. All for the image. I am not a fan of them like I used to be. But then, I got wiser, and discovered a new way to see some of the most beautiful ladies in the world, and I am VERY VERY happy about that.
