All overpriced in LV. I'm a software engineer who pulls down fine but this sh!ts in a bubble. 6,7,8,1000. Ya, you can say what you want about deals/packages/etc but when the rubber hits the road its burning a bit much. I guess I should preface this by saying I'm a local and for the stooges that come here once or twice a year while away from their wifey ok, I see it. But really in the long run, LV ain't the place to hobby....lets cut to the chase. I can get as high a caliber woman in PHX or LA for at this point 30-40 percent off. Ya you gotta take a vacation but at least you get that out of it. Let em go to the oil shieks and twitter executives...in the end when this sh!t rolls over we'll see whose wearing shorts when the tide rolls out. Let the flamming begin(and ya im alias so fu)!
I've found there is a WIDE range of prices. Want to only spend 3? There's plenty of good times out there. I spend about 9 for two hours with my ATF, but have had a great time in the 300 range. I think there is something for everybody in this town.

I used to have fun when I was not a local.. come a few times a year, enjoy a great date with a hot lady... but back where I lived, there were plenty of fun super hot ladies in the $300-$400 range to choose from so I could afford a date once a month or so. Now that I live here I am stuck with at least $600-$800 which I can't afford. So unfortunately I don't play. Simple as that. No point of complaining, the ladies charge what they can and why not? As long as there is a demand, there is no point for them to make less money. I don't blame them....It make sense... But yeah, being a local is not fun!

... unless you include the usual diva behavior from the usual suspects known to live in their own time zones...otherwise, I have had plenty of excellent service since moving here, and almost always in the $3-400 range.

No use fighting it. I am one of those who comes out once every year ( escaping the wifey as you put it. ) I plan ahead and save ahead. I drive from Kentucky and I have other "stops" along the way in the 3-4 hundred dollar range that are just as hot and even more fun. But, if the ladies in Vegas can get more, then I salute them. This is, by the way, the land of opportunity and free will. I do, however, tend to only book 2 hour dates in Sin City but 4 hour to overnighters in other cities.
I understand what you mean but I don't live in Vegas. As the post before me says I come out once/twice per year and have no problem seeing the ladies in the 600-1000 range. Here in NYC I don't do that range often but have a few times in the past. I guess I look at it differently since it is a "get away". Being in the type of city you are in the ladies can get that cost any time they want and good for them but it must suck from the local's perspective.....
So I got to know-- what's it like in a different city, then? If you take the service that you get from one of the top rated $600 an hour providers in Vegas--how much would it cost to get that same service in Anytown, USA? I've seen a LOT of girls, but never outside of Vegas.
Ty to TER for posting this and to the responses posted. It is part of the price you pay for living in a tourist trap I suppose. Just seems like a not but a few years ago things were different. Salespeople, i.e. the laides, are more than willing to raise prices multiple times over the years but are loathe to go the other direction even if they aren't getting any business or less of it. So they will find themselves trapped at these levels when the economy goes back into recession/depression. This could be years off still but will happen so I guess get it while you can ladies. My solution has been to hobby much less as I have no desire to scrape the barrell if I'm going to engage in such activities and I told myself I would not go above a certain price point as it started to seem absurd amounts for an orgasim. May as well go back to real dating if thats the choice. Ty again for the level headed responses. And I meant no offense to our fine visitors coming here, just was a heated moment in my diatribe.
as someone who's in Vegas on business regularly, I kind of feel the same way at times. I'm spoiled, as I hobby in a number of Left Coast cities where $300 to $400 gets you a lot of bang for your buck. So when I'm in Vegas, I just roll up my "research" sleeves and, as others have said, find the $300 to $400 providers that I'm looking for. It just seems that every time I look at the Vegas new reviews or the Vegas ad board, there's some new hottie advertising at $500 or more.
Look at the original wording of his first post, acting like a fake tough guy, ending with a FU to all of us. Then his "Oh, TY" little bitch post......that's why he probably had a few too many and ranted on his first post. He was probably short on dinero and couldn't afford to get laid last night and got pissy.....But I do argee with what he was getting at.

As an ex-local now visitor I feel your pain. I think from the ladies perspective you have to look at the crowd that Vegas attracts. There are a LOT of young 20 something drunk bachelor party attendees that wouldn't think twice about dropping $300 for an hour of fun, that is why the rip-off agencies continue to thrive. Setting the bar a little higher, 5-600, would tend to weed out this level of clientele. Supply and demand, basic 101 economics!
...and I will continue to, but it would be nice to get a break from those prices now and then. I think we all acknowledge that a high price doesn't necessarily guarantee better sex nor does it mean that a beautiful woman at $600 is more of a turn on than a beautiful woman at $300. I really appreciate it when someone credible like SDS shills for one of his high quality / lower priced Las Vegas favorites. It helps put those ladies on my, and many other guys', radar so we can possibly hook up with them on a future visit. I encourage more local hobbyists to follow his example.
I wish the Friday Shill thread would take off here on this board and work like it's supposed to work where local and non local Hobbyists shill for not just one, but several Las Vegas Providers who made them happy during the past week. There seems to be an elitist disposition of this board where only the higher priced ladies are represented on the discussion board or on the ad board. It doesn't have to be that way if all ladies were encouraged to participate.
I think every provider has the right to set their own prices, but in this city and others like NYC. It's getting crazy, even though I can pay the higher prices. The ladies that give reasonable rates should be featured more on this broad.
Sometimes I think some providers don't live in the real world! If we want better rates, then just stick with ladies who give fair prices.
The high price providers can set their prices, but you don't have to pay it!

I live in Phoenix but get to Vegas two to three times a year. In Phoenix when the snow birds come in. Prices go up. There is more demand so the ladies can charge higher prices. In Vegas it's that way all year around. So when in a Vegas I pay more for what I want as I do in Phoenix in high season.
At the end of the day if the ladies couldn't get their price they would lower it. Therefore if you do some homework, you'll find gems at all price points. You just have to work a little harder to find what you want.

I guess everyone has their point of reference. As you spoke of earlier, if plenty of visitors are willing to pay the price, is it? I am sure if it were truly overpriced the prices would eventually come down. If the ladies are doing well using whatever pricing structure they choose to use, I do not think it will change. It is what it is, cant make what it is what it ain't, or what it ain't what it is. I enjoy my time when I visit LV and understand what I am getting into and what it takes to play. My choice so I am not complaining just enjoy when I get there.

My gosh, I would love to stay at the Mandarin Oriental any time I take a vacation. Unfortunately it's out of my hotel budget, so I don't.
1. My perception is that pricing have remained fairly constant in Las Vegas over about the past decade or so. I am paying about the same for the providers I see as I did when I first got into the hobby. I would say that there are more providers attempting to obtain premium prices, but plenty of good times to be had on almost any budget.
2. There are several providers I am aware of who offer discounts for locals. Check out websites and you'll find them.
3. I used to see a provider in my hometown on a very regular basis (probably monthly). On more than one occasion, she emailed or texted me to come see her at a "special rate". The point is that if you become a regular there may be some benefits to you.
4. I don't understand the anger contained in your comment. This is a business. Like the earlier example of a hotel, if you can't afford Mandarin Oriental, try Bally's. The ladies, like all business people, price in a manner designed to maximize their revenue. I have my own personal disagreements with some pricing regimes, like paying her $400/hour (or more) so I can feed her a $100 meal, but those ladies do not enjoy the pleasure of my company for a dinner date.

You didn't give us a lot of info, but my guess is that you are a somewhat new LV local? If so, this means that you moved here w/o checking out the local hobby scene. Not very bright if you are hobbying on a budget or a restricted price limit.
But if you are a long time local, it would appear that it is you who is living in a bubble, since there is a fair amount of value to be found here. It would seem that someone in your line of work would know how to search a database or write an App. Personally, I visit LV around 5-6 times a year, but have found value by simply paying attention to ads and reviews to use in building my own database. And I really don't care that much about price, as my MO is to drop off the high and low ends and search through the mid range of about 3-500.
Finally, it seems as though you're calling the wrong group of visitors "stooges". Most of us R & R types have accepted the notion that Vegas is priced higher than most other places, as it offers a number of high end places to do our thing. It also provides us with some exceptional ladies to recreate with, LOL.
Again if you've been paying attention, you would have noticed the overpaying clubbers as the ones who are acting like stooges. 10K for a table, and another 10K or more for alcohol... really? All that and many of them couldn't even get laid... and after the LE action occurred, it's clear that they had been overpaying for our $600 safety girls through a middle man... and didn't even know how to find them on this site, LOL.
