I wanted to hear from the guys who secretly record their encounters with escorts. Speak up and share your stories. You can tell about what a naughty boy you have been or about a "friend" you know who does it.

As in, come into the session with a tiny audio recorder or video camcorder?

I've been tempted to do that a number of times.  Mostly for myself--I would never post anything like that on a "tube" site.  I just find that so often events in my playdates become a blur, and it's hard for me to reconstruct what happened afterward--I just know I have a big smile on my face the next day.  :)  But gosh, sometimes I'd like to have a better idea why.

In practice:  I don't think I ever would.  Too creepy, I have too much respect for the women I see to record our dates without their consent, blah blah..

.....how easily recordings end up in social media and then are used against them, I guess there isn't much more you can teach them.

It's one thing to have a session that includes recordings. Some providers have made it their signature niche. Talk about fun fun fun for the parties willingly involved!!!

But to do so without the knowledge of all parties involved? That is a hot button with any self-respecting hobbyist or provider.

Thoughtless Indiscretion on top of betrayal in an industry where discretion is often of the utmost importance, you may as well advertise yourself as a severe beat down waiting to happen. Or worse.

It's just wrong on every level.

Rant over

I really posted this thread to make the ladies more aware of this problem. I was hoping some guys would chime in about the fact that they have been doing it and put the girls on alert.
Looks like I didn't get any takers. Personally I have found hidden cameras recording my sessions w/o my knowledge 3 times, and one a guy tried to get me with his iphone right in the middle of everything and pretend he was just checking his phone.
This past weekend I had a date with a guy who's Date-Check reference list was a mile long. I found 3 hidden cameras during the session. They were tiny like the size of your thumb.
Yes, I contacted every girl on DC that had approved him and yes, the next few days were very drama filled. I don't want to open that wound again. I just wanted to bring up the subject so that the ladies will keep their eyes open when they show up at an outcall. And not allow any backpacks or briefcases to be sitting around during an incall or outcall.
I posted about this on the provider board but i know not everyone looks there (I rarely do) so just hoping to get a wider audience. Providers can get the details in the Provider only board.

OK, fair enough. This is a subject that definitely needs discussing.
Damn right its important people know who they play with, and the fact your situation occurred with a well-regarded person makes this even more troubling. At what point can we insure our security and privacy is not being violated? What drives people to be underhanded in the one game where honesty and candor are actually GOOD for business?

Part of the problem here, is in the fact technology has made it so very easy for almost anyone with a "hidden agenda" and a budget for spy tech. Your comment about backpacks and briefcases... very observant. Nanny cams in plushy toys, Eyeglasses-turned-HD video cams, and on Amazon you can find a cheap alarm clock with a camera lens 1mm in diameter. Motion sensor takes pictures. Just a cheap piece of tech with an sd chip. But in fact, it is a hidden camera.

I got no answers for prevention, but a vault FULL of creative ideas involving Payback. Mu. Ha. Ha.

Perhaps a double X rated video might be in the offing?  But I digress; not to mention I gotta run to my "fitting" for a P-Cam!  69 Megapixels!  yippie kai aaaa!

Cheers

it is a felony to record a conversation without the other persons consent. The law varies from State to State. Did you ever wonder why some companies have a recording that says "Your conversation may be recorded for the purposes of training our employees"? That's bullshit, they just want to get around the law a record you so they can prove you committed to "two years of cable at a high price", "requested a certain product", "agreed to buy something" etc etc.
