Come on now, SOMEBODY on here has to have leaped off the Stratosphere.  Shoot, just read that a 75 YO gal has done it three times already.

The last one that I heard of taking that plunge, did it sans parachute, and squashed himself on the parking garage.  Bummer1

I might have to try that...

Ouch! That's got to ruin your day...

I have been Ski Diving in Perris Ca, and Bungee Jumping in Virgina Beach from a hot air balloon. The closest Ive been to jumping off the top of the Stratosphere was booking with some of my friends, but once I was up there changed my mind. I just could not do it.

...they keep me from drinkin, as in "I don't think there is enough alky to get me to jump off of there in all of Las Vegas".
If I did...I wouldn't want to remember it and it would take a video of me doing it to believe it.

As for the 75 yr old gal doing it 3 times...them gals do a lot of things I wouldn't...75 yrs old or not. She's a better man then me...;0)

In 1988 I was visiting the old HemisFair tower (now called Tower of the Americas) in San Antonio. I was on the ground buying a hot dog when the hot dog seller screamed about the time I heard a THUG behind me. Seems someone had decided to do suicide by a plunge, sans ropes, cables or parachute. He landed about 50 feet from me. Nope, you will never get me to jump off the Stratosphere. I won't even go up to the top.

It wasn't a pretty sight.

And, I haven't felt like eating a hot dog since then.
