I know "indies" are the best way to go but sometimes I like to see what is avaliable at the hotel bars for pick up. what hotel bars offer the best girls?

Most of the major strip bars have several advantages:
 1. A relative of mine works at a major strip bar, and sees about 4 johns a night being taken out in handcuffs by vice.
 2. Many of the  bar girls will upsell you as soon as you get in the room, if you get past security.
 3. Many of the bar girls will steal anything you havent nailed down as they leave.
 4. Manyof the bar girls will give you only a "cash and dash" service, with no kissing, no daty, no more than missionary,and you will pay about 200 for ANY of the other services.
 5. You really dont know if the girl has meth sores, stretch marks, big tattoos, etc until she undresses, and has your $500.  
    GOOD IDEA - screen out your girls.  If you see a well reviewed girl, she will meet you in the bar and pretend to be your pickup. That way you know she isnt a vice cop with handcuffs, she also does not do any of the above. TER is a good start.

For those who simply MUST check out the bar girls, doing so with a well reviewed independent already there and waiting for you is a super way to go.
You can check out the action, make the bar girls jealous and feel pretty sure things are going to go real well for you in the end cuase youve done your homework.
Any one of serveral independents would be happy to meet and flirt with you at the bar first.
Just ask!! lol

I was at the Venetian on Saturday night and the place was thick with bar girls.  I smiled at one, and she apparently took it as some kind of signal. She ran over to me and asked if I was the guy that just called her.  I told her I wasn't.  She then said that didn't matter, we could still have fun if we went up to my room.  I told her I wasn't staying in the hotel and was just there to meet some people.  She replied she had friends close by if the people I was meeting needed company also.  I politely declined.

With such a great service as TER why would anyone chance it any where eles?

Sounds a lot like my experiences in the strip clubs. The moment you make eye contact, you've given her the green light to come over and hit you up. I've learned to look at the floor a lot, LOL. The moment you catch her looking at you, look away and fast. If she still comes over, say you were looking at someone else and didn't mean to give her the wrong idea. It takes a lot of strength to fight off the bar girls and strippers. I'd rather hit the bar having a TER girl on my arm, and a tough one at that. Meow!!!

im a vegas virgin but when i go, i do intend to see some great reviewed private ladies but i will also give the bargirls a go

I have been researching the bargirls thing a fair bit on other forums and if you do certain things, the risk can be minimised considerably (e.g. lock all valuables up, only have enough cash on you for the encounter and lock any extra in your safe when back in your room.

as for the vice sting thing. I know there are risks, but i don't mind living a bit dangerously

There are VERY few hotels I haven't been propositioned in.

I don't tend to take them up on it, though- while it's possible to negotiate a good deal, it's also possible to come up snake eyes and get robbed, drugged or very lame service.

Have been in Vegas quite a bit over the last few years on business.  Have a few ladies that I alway try to hook up with first.  At 2:00 am it is amazing how many ladies are "Trolling" the bar and casino.  I have never taken them up on the offer.  Don't want to end up on "Cops".  I never really thought of the role play bar pick-up might be fun to try.  Stay with TER and the reviews.  You will have a good time and not worry about getting Robbed or losing body parts.  As for me, I only have 1 kidney so I am screwed if I lose that one! LOL

You can not assume all bar girls are bad. It is ture there are some girls who do upsell, steal  and etc.... but there are good one, like myself. lol.. If you are so scared to talk to girls at bars, just do not, but you would never know what you are missing out.

tip. if a girl is in a hurry to go to your place or her place, it may not be good sign. It is just
my opinion.

... why not get yourself a web page and a TER profile, and work both sides of the aisle?

(Yes, Virginia, there ARE TER-listed providers who will work the bars. Seen it with my own eyes- picked up someone from SF one night and had some decent service. Her profile went away before I could do the review, but she had a couple pages of reviews.)
