Hey Girls, I was at the Flamingo the other night trying to find my client's Tower and I was approached by security and first asked if I was soliciting and then asked to leave. I'm not sure as to why I was approached, I was in slacks and a collared shirt... It's not like I had hooker boots and a jean skirt on lol But girls please be careful I was just trying to find my way around a hotel Ive never been inside and asked to leave. I dont know what was up with that but just be a little careful. XoX Adrianna

I've noticed them doing some unfriendly things at other places they now own, like Caesar's.

It's a damm shame, and yeah, the Flamingo could get you lost.

Back in the day when I was begining as a provider I was chatting with another former provider who was telling me Harrah's properties are very "unfriendly" to the ladies and always would set up stings at the Rio.All I can say is make sure your Dud is verified.
Last Night I was also at Flamingo[btw there new rooms are awesome!!!} and there was a female security guard hanging in the elevator after I was on for a couple floor and she never asked me anything but seemed to be filling out a report from a tourists and was on her walkie-talkie.I remembered the gentleman's name and rm # just incase I was questioned.
I rarely have ever visited Flamingo but LaRue's idea of looking/scouting the hotel layout is genious,Never did I even think of that.
My date last night went by smooth and I got in ok.I was dressed casual, not business.I definatly would go business next time around. So what id your date may not like it,its for your safety under the radar.

sorry this happened to you doll face...When I am going to a Hotel I dont know the lay out of...I go to the website of that hotel and try to find a map of the hotel itself, which usually gives a floor plan , so i have an idea of where i am headed once there.

They should have imploded that ancient relic back when they did the Dunes & Sands. I'll bet any younger, hot looking chick raises red flags there when she walks in. Can you imagine if they had a policy of questioning them like this at the Hard Rock? LOL.

They're trying to upscale the place a bit- I assume to try and appeal to a younger crowd that can't quite afford Caesar's...

They still have a nice pool, and I think they're in better shape than the Riviera or Tropicana (which are being left to die).

I stayed there a couple years back, and the younger chicks I met didn't have problems- in fact, I did something quite naughty with someone on the way up to the room...

I stay there often (in the summer), it's centrally located, has mono access, it's all good there. The sports book could use some work and the pool is like 60 degrees when it's 120 out, but other than that, I've had nothing but fun and great service at the Flam. Plus it's one of those hotels that allows you to check in at the airport, which is awesome.

Harrah's has long term plans to demolish the Flamingo, Imperial Palace, and Bill's (the former Barbary Coast which they acquired from Boyd Gaming in a swap for land adjacent to the Stardust property) and build a new mega-resort.  The exact date this is suppose to happen has not been set.  It will probably be a few years down the road.

Of course it won't change the attitude of certain security guards.  And it won't change my opinion of the Harrah's organization.  I try to avoid their properties when I can.

That's pretty much a rumor as the powers to be haven't formulated a plan yet for the east side of the strip that harrahs now owns, especially now that the corporation will officially be sold.

George Wallace has a 10pm show there (and recently managed to get Sly to come out and play with the Family Stone: http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/2007/04/05/aande.html).  Second City comedy troupe is there.  Toni Braxton has a show there (not sure if it's still up but a giant image along the strip side of the building of her).  Society of Seven perform there.  And the X Burlesque (was the X Show at the V Theater in the old Dessert Passage at Aladdin; now Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood (or ph for short)) moved there (along with losing the X taped over their nipples).  Saw the old show when it was in the V and was pretty entertaining.

Hi sweetie,
Maybe it doesn't matter if you dress down, your still hot.  There are some hater security guards trying to be tough.  Was it a late hour, like 11-1am or normal hours??  Also you should look into the prepaid legal system, they protect against profiling, which is exactly what they did to you.  SO SORRY that happened, but thatnks for letting us know!!
