There is a food and wine tasting this Saturday so that's something a bit different. It's for Spread the Word NV which promotes literacy in youth. So I won't be an overindulging taster, I'll be a GIVER

Saturday, October 18th
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Taste fantastic wine from over 30 wineries, sample dishes from well-known and highly rated District at Green Valley Ranch restaurants, and enjoy the musical talents of Michael Grimm. Tickets are only $40.00 per person and a portion of the proceeds will go to the charity, Spread the Word Nevada. Wineries include: 14 Hands, Banfi, Baron Fini, Blackstone, Chandon, Chateau St. Jean, Chateau Ste Michelle, Clos De Bois, Colores Del Sol, Drylands, Estancia, Gabbiano, Hidden Crush, Josh Cellars, Kim Crawford, Mark West, Mount Veeder, Penfolds, Primal Roots, Ravenswood Lodi, Rex Goliath, Ruffino, Sandeman, Simi, Simply Naked, The Dreaming Tree, Thorny Rose, Wild Horse, and Woodbridge. (I removed the link to purchase tickets in case it's not allowed but I mailed it to you.) As far as karaoke there are a couple places in town and since this event ends early there is plenty of time for karaoke after. I hope you have a wonderful time exploring.
