I'm with you. Sasha should charge what the market will bear. I don't think anyone disputes that. The market will determine if the price is working. I'm sure that Sasha is "worth" 1K per hour to you. Thats great. However, worth is subjective. Its really your ability and willingness to pay a certain rate for a lady.

Personally, I'm a capitalist at heart and believe that a person should charge what the market will bear. My experience says that Sasha is worth every dollar - not only is she beautiful and sexy, but funny, intelligent and exciting to be with. There are others out there (Natasha L, Amy T, Chloe R) who charge as much if not more so Sasha is not alone. There are people including myself who would pay her rate, so why should there be an issue.

guy who would pay her new rate. That's the guy who just reviewed her. She may very well get takers and maybe she is looking to limit her clientel to a smaller, more affluent group. That's fine. It's just very rare when you see an escort double her rate in one shot. I don't think I've ever seen that before.
... though I've seen lot of ladies upscale the prices as popularity abounds. I can recall one very well-regarded lady who's now in the "high dollar hottie" class who started out at $200-ish in Seattle 7 years ago...
As for whether it's worth it or not... well, it's not for me, because I have plenty of options at lower scales that are also "not only beautiful and sexy... but funny, intelligent and exciting to be with". I don't begrudge anyone the choice of targeting a client base for whom a 2 hour, $2000 date is an easily bearable expense (because that's basically what this is- marketing and excluding clientele to rich people), but I don't find it all that compelling. Would that I could be that price-insensitive.
Of course, I'm also of the opinion that a lot of the market demand FOR ladies charging in that price region is based around conspicuous consumption (using what you buy to show off your status) and "Veblen goods". Rich people will buy things that cost more on a perception that more cost = better. It's not always the case... but I can't blame smart providers for being willing to take advantage of this, if they are canny enough to do it. This job doesn't come with 401k, pension or health care, after all.
