"unless the language you studies is html"...and you are criticizing me.  :-X  Actually, yes, I am very fluent in HTML, as well as numerous other web and application languages, including flash.  (oh, and English too  LOL)  I won't bore you with a list, but when I said I had a degree in programming and years of experience to back it up, what did you think I meant, using crayolas on a monitor? :-D  Sorry to disappoint you, but I DO know what I am talking about.  Ironically, your other post and mine said pretty much the same thing regarding templates and their ease of use.  But it still remains to be seen if the site is even a template in the first place.  Could still be the designer ripped off the design and passed it off as their own template.  Or that the design duplication was specifically requested and agreed to by a shady designer.

I NEVER advised anyone to use a free template service.  I only mentioned they were available - the point being why pay for something you can get for free.  If you are going to pay, at least make it original.  But if you do pay for just for a template, don't post hype on your site stating "I hired the best web designers to build my site".

As far as hating on a new girl is concerned, I believe I was quite clear in my last post.  I admitted to jumping to a conclusion and gave her every opportunity to prove me wrong.  I stated more than once that she had my sincere apology if I was wrong.  However, my initial reaction, while hasty, was not in hate of a new girl but rather in defense of an established, respected provider.  What other motive could I have?  Rachel and I are not exactly competing for the same clientele as we are quite different.

Hello all... My first time posting here and I had a few questions.

First, I looked-up a provider (rachel702.com) and emailed her to enquire about reviews in which she replied to TOFTT (I had to look up the acronym). Is that typical?? I'm very cautious...

Second, I'm a younger guy that makes good money (not braggin...well, kinda :)). Anyways, I see all over the place that providers prefer aged 40+ guys. I understand why, but do they have problems w/ the younger guys?

Input is greatly appreciated... or you can tell this young chap to get lost! Ha, thanks.

It is odd that you and her posted at the relatively the same time. Her post was not approved, cause she does not meet any of the criteria for ad posting on the boards yet. However, her subject line read:  "NEW to TER: NEW website NEW photos NEW provider". She has no reviews or profile here as of yet.

I doubt that this community will tell you to "get lost". But they may be cautious, since you may be young and rich but you sure are not new. You have reviews going back 2 years. Surely you would have known what TOFTT meant.

I may get blasted for this, but as a victim of plagiarism myself I'll stick my neck out on this one.

GinaXOXO is a well known and well regarded provider here.  Rachel has a lot of nerve plagiarizing her website.  I'm not talking about a few lines here - her site is an EXACT copy of Gina's!  :-@  Right down to the music and even the so-called copyright that says "copyright 2006-2007 rachel702 all rights reserved".  Hmmm...  if its a brand new sight, what's with the 2006?  Its nearly 2008 already.

If you want to ask me why her site and mine look alike please feel free to ASK. Don't ACCUSE me of stealing things when you have NO idea whatyou are talking about.

My site is NOT an exact copy of her site. In fact, my site and her site have completely different content (pictures and text).

We do have the same "template" website however. Anyone can purchase the template it is not JUST Gina's. I paid for my site, pictures and I wrote the text myself.

I realize that it is a shadey business and people steal pics, sites, etrc all the time but don't accuse me of that because I would NEVER steal anything from anyone. I don't need to.

That is funny considering your site claims "I hired the best web designers to build my site".  Now you are claiming its just a standard template anyone can use.  If that is the case I hope you didn't pay much for it since there are FREE services you can use for templates and if it is just a template your "designers" only had to spend about 10 minutes entering your copy and images.  (Nope, not speaking out of my ass on this one...  I have a degree in computer programming and years of experience in the field to back it up.)  

If what you are saying is true, you have my sincere public apology.  But forgive me if I wait to hear from Gina on the subject.  (Or you posting a link to your designers site containing the template)  Yes, I did jump to a conclusion.  There are a lot of unscrupulous individuals who pass though.  They are leeches, trying to imitate an established providers business and profit from it.  Websites are often plagiarized, be it the design or the copy therein.  So you being new, being on CL and the remarks regarding the possible ulterior motives of the original post led me to a quick conclusion.

For what its worth you may do better with something original.  I may have been the only one to publicly speak up but I have had many a private conversation on this topic so I know such things DO get noticed.  Why not have an *original* website and avoid the possible implications altogether?

Again, if Gina does confirm the site is not an original but rather a template, you have my sincerest apology and my best wishes.  

After further thought, you are correct - I should have asked about, or commented on, the identical design rather than assuming. (we all know what happens when you assume) I do know how it feels on both sides.  As I mentioned, I have had my website plagairised.  But it was not long ago I was defending myself against false accusations as well.  Even flat out lies being publicly posted.  I made niave mistakes when I first got started (posting on CL, etc), but the accusations were still false and I had to really put a lot of effort into proving that and turning it around.  

That being said, I should not have jumped to such a quick conclusion and for that I do apologize.  If your website is indeed a template I clearly was wrong in my assumption.  But I would still suggest an original design to avoid such misunderstandings.

First you advise her to use one of the generic free escort sites that 90%of the providers i see use.  Then you blast her for not having an original design..LOL at you.

By the way, your degree in computer programing is completely irrelevant to the discussion unless the language you studies is html. Even then it wouldnt be completely relevant because that site is flash based.

Nonsense!   Long time lurker here that just needs to chime in because I do web design for a living.

There is a crazy little phenomenon in web design these days called a template.  In a marketing scheme designed to make a a few bucks web designers decided to sell a single design more then once.  Crazy and dangerous yet affective.

Any consumer with novice knowledge of how websites work, (hosts, domains and such) can purchase the template, upload there photos and text and viola you have a professional looking site for $99.

As far as your overwhelming evidence of the fictitious copyright date.  simply explained away as the date at which the template was created.  Consumer simply failed to change the date!

Sorry to make me first post so harsh, but know what your talking about before you make accusations!

Nope, not a shill for her at all. In fact, I thought afterwards my post might not be approved w/ me providing her site info. When I emailed, I said "I didn't see TER reviews, so..." so maybe she figured she should get on here.

Ha, and ya, I've been around for a bit, but all of those reviews you see are all of the times I've seen a provider (except for Dianna..saw her a few times). I usually chicken out cuz LE scares the **** outta me.

What does that mean? What did I do wrong or should I say what do I need to do different to be allowed to post?

I want to be very clear that I didn't have anything to do with the post from youngandthick. I would love to spend some time with him but I am not in any way trying to BS the board. I am just trying to meet new people that enjoy my services. I have posted on several other boards and they went up ok, so I am not sure what I did wrong.

However, for future ad postings please see the rules posted at the top of the page I just posted.

In particular, you need to have your website approved by TER and install a TER badge link on your website that links back to TER. There are many posts in the queue like yours that do not meet the criteria, so do not feel you are being singled out. As you say you are just getting started and are probably not aware of the rules.

It's basically a way to screen for overactive guys who just want to fuck non-stop for 4 hours (or an hour or whatever).  Doesn't mean that the cilais won't give you a 4+ hour hard-on (would you call the doctor about that?).

If you make good money, maybe you can overcome this slight by booking a dinner date.

As for who to see, the review database here is pretty extensive so if you find a lot of good reviews, esp from well known posters, you might be on to something.  It also helps to have a VIP membership ($20/month) so you can see better details in the profile and the individual reviews.
