I'm thinking of visiting during CES this year, for the first time. I had a request last week that sparked my interest. Only visited once in LV(in Oct) but had a great experience so now I'm really tempted to go back. Hmmm....

For some reason I have assumed that hobbying during CES is a bit like going out to eat on New Year's or Valentine's day.  New Year's Eve and Valentine's day are the amateur days.  Days for people who don't usually go out.  Restaurants are packed with jerks who don't know how to treat people right.   Cooks are stretched.  Food isn't as good and as a result, servers gets stressed out and service suffers. I long ago decided that it is better to stay in and enjoy a night on the town when the stupidity level is back to normal.

I have often thought that Vegas girls would flee the city during CES.  Surely great money, but what a hassle.  That said, the girls of Las Vegas are an amazing bunch.  I'm sure that if anyone can make the clusterfuck that is CES enjoyable it'd be them.   So, is it even worth it to try to set up a CES rendezvous?   Anyone (providers or guys) care to share their CES insights?

Many gents are coming to town during that time.I don't quite understand your example of christmas/new year's eve eating compared to seeing a provider during CES.
Are you saying because it is busy the providers are not going to provide excellent service that they normally would if CES was not here?I am not sure if that is what you meant that is why I am asking:)
I don't see how it is a hassle at least not for me it is many gents come to town for that convention and have been doing that for years.I would suggest if you are interested in setting an appt with a provider during that time the earlier the better.I have had gents that will be in town during CES have already reached out to me to make plans.
Good luck to you:)

As any other time of the year. If you prebook with a top rated provider your going to always have to prebook in advance to secure you your quality time.

Most local ladies will know where to take you for a quality dinner off the strip away from the crowds. This town has a lot to offer off the strip and you will enjoy the sights.

I've had good experiences during CES time. It seems like business as usual for this profession. Hotel rooms cost triple during CES but otherwise much the same.  I usually start making contacts 2-3 weeks before and no troubles.

A bonus in the last was the the Adult Entertainment Expo was on at the same time. It brought more visiting pros, especially dominas which is sometimes what I go for. But the AEE is later this year. Too bad b:(

Not sure if we'll ever see CES and AVN together again...bummer!

There were some years that a lot of things you mention .... got lazy. (Honestly don't know about the providers during CES.)

Food and Servers? Right now Vegas is a night and day difference from the hey days and for the most part.... ALL of them are loving business right now and are FAR more appreciative then the 2006 days. My experience.. but hanging in Vegas since the bust has been an absolute blast. The Fat was trimmed in 2008 and the sorry arses were let go with only the best remaining in my experience.

Providers? I would suggest you book in advance as with any major event weekend in Vegas. Far as I know, the quality ladies are not overbooking.... they have experience and are not going to string themselves out. (These are the ladies I know.)

Regardless.... service standards for Vegas are very high right now....  from people I know in the Hospitality BIZ... any major convention or event.... EVERYBODY is on VERY HIGH alert to provide the absolute best experience possible.

There WAS a time when people in Vegas took things for granted.... those days are over.

ALSO... from my days in the Casino Biz.... we always looked forward to CES. Comdex and some other cheapster conventions is another story.... but money is to be made during CES and always has been.

CES to Super Bowl.... when I was in the Biz... we made TONS of money and HIGHLY appreciated everybody.

The only way you are not going to be appreciated right now... is if in fact... you really are a cheap arse.

Cheers!

But some of the restaurants are a bit sketchy still. The best steak house is the Steak House at Circus Circus!!
I loved Sage at the Aria too.

The city fills up with amazing women from all over. I've never hobbied during that time but there are tons of visiting girls in town and the local providers seem to all be here, as well. I don't think quality is the issue as much as just being able to get an appointment as there are so many visitors and everyone books up fast.

Have fun!

I find that a lot of the same visitors come and I have a lot of regulars that come back each year. A lot more dinner dates and evenings than other times.. And its nice, they do know to schedule early..
Love CES!!
AM

PS They always have the best toys... haha

I've always met some really great people during CES week and have had tons of fun!  I'm taking a few classes myself this year which will be a first time for actually attending CES!

Have fun!
