Thankfully NO.
I say no, because earlier this year 233 people died in a fire that swept through a nightclub in southern Brazil. The fire began when a band let off fireworks at the Kiss club in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul. Fireworks belong Outside, not inside, IMO.
I have seen well over 50 shows in Vegas over the years, but this last trip I saw the best show ever in Vegas, and in fact, the best show I have seen Anywhere.
Raiding the Rock Vault up at the LVH.
Two solid hours of classic rock songs performed by eight talented musicians from various rock groups.
If you enjoy classic rock even a little, you must see this amazing show. ASAP.
Below is just one of the photos I took when I saw the show in July. It was so good I saw it again a week later
What's your definition of classic rock? Is it the 60's, 70's 80's.... Can you be a little more specific as to the bands they covered or the era's? I know to some the 80's and 90's could be construed as classic rock but to some of us geezers there's not much classic about those decades when it comes to rock. I appreciate good music from any era but if this is more like Rock Of Ages then Woodstock it makes a difference in how fast I'm going to want to see it. Thanks for the info!
They started from the 1960's then moved through the 70's and 80's.
OK, here are some of the bands I can remember from the show. In no particular order.
Who.
Free.
Doors.
Hendrix.
Queen.
Stones.
Zeppelin.
Supertramp
Van Halen.
Deep Purple.
Pink Floyd
Survivor.
Eagles.
Journey.
Bryan Adams.
AC/DC.
Robert Palmer.
Bon Jovi.
There are more, but if that's not enough to keep anyone happy, then there is no hope for you...lol.
This show is number five of over 500 things to do in Vegas, and number two of 180 performances to see on Trip Advisor.
I would have seen it a third time, but I already had tickets to see MJ, Million Dollar Quartet and Rod Stewart.
None of those came close to this show IMO.

Thanks definitely looks like a winner.
I have 4 free tickets for this Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Would love to take a date. If I cannot find a date then maybe there are a couple of ladies who would like a girls night out.

and the best show I saw, which happens not to be rock, is Jersey Boys. That is selected by me from "house shows" that are currently running. The most over-hyped show I saw was Blue Man Group. Booooring.
...Rod Stewart on July 31 but when I got to the Colosseum I found out that it was cancelled due to Rod being ill. Instead, the next night, I chose to see Veronic at Bally's. Veronic comes highly recommended by Celine, a fellow french Canadian. It was a very good show and I would highly recommend it for it's price. I've seen Celine twice and I'd add her to my 'Must See' list of LV shows!
Yes I heard rod was ill and had to cancel.
Thankfully he was ok on the 3rd, which was my birthday.
Great show with an awesome band.
Omitted a few of my favourite songs, but no complaints overall.
His daughter sang a song and has a very powerful voice. She sang on the Pepsi or Coke advert, apparently.
Surprisingly there were a few empty seats, on a Saturday night.
I have heard good things about Veronica, but not my type of music to be honest..

That looks like an awesome show, I grew up listening to most of the names you mentioned. Can I ask did they also do the explosions/fireworks like some groups do at their concerts?

Thanks John, I remember hearing about that fire in Southern Brazil, wow thats sad. I agree w/you, they're better off outside than inside. I do enjoy decent rock concerts but i dont like the fireworks/explosions some have, way too noisy for me.
