One of the weaknesses of the TER system is allowing free membership for submitting reviews.  It encourages fakes.  I recall one provider saying her entire first page of her profile was fake reviews.  I really think that some fee should apply for all hobbiests.

How are hobbyists who write fake reviews dealt with?

I know that it is policy for ladies who write their own fake reviews are banned...does the same thing happen to hobbyists?

The latest review that has been posted to my profile was written by a "gentleman" who I have never met with.  He has reviewed several other well known LV ladies, yet he wrote a fake review for me.  I do not offer the services he mentions; never have and never will...that in and of itself shows that he has not been in my company.  It also shows he is too cheap to buy VIP to see what services I Do offer.

Besides getting this malarkey pulled, what else happens to him?  It is out of line in my eyes and he should have to suffer a consequence for trying to get free VIP or whatever his intention was....what a lame~o! :(

grind slowly, but they do grind.  For whatever reason, Samantha, some guys do post fake reviews for whatever reason, but TER has been good about vetting the process and lifting those bogus reviews, but it does take a little time to get things straight.  It impugnes your integrity to have something like this happen.  Whether an actual hobbyist, or another provider, are of no consequence, the effect is the same.  Please be assured that we know the type of person you are, and this is just a fluke.

....i've proved at least 2 cases of fake reviews and those 2 are still reviewing.

The only reason I could see would be to extend VIP; but there would only be a savings of $12 per fake review.  No need to state the obvious on the economics of that....

Since it's inconsistent with your other reviews and could put you in a compromising position with other customers, I'm sure they'll pull the review if you report it. But in the end, the guy can claim he was that one special guy you just couldn't control yourself with, despite your claims to the contrary. I don't know how they can be sure he's lying unless he has a history of complaints against him.

Unfortunately, this happens to many ladies.I have had this happen to me twice here on TER both of the reviews had good scores but the service stated in the review I do not offer. The last time was a couple of months ago and the guy who posted the fake review had also reviewed reputable las vegas ladies a few even whitelisted him.TER removed both of these reviews I do not care if they were good reviews I rather have less reviews.Hopefully,TER will remove your review ASAP!I wonder if the guys who do this do it strictly for the free VIP days or are they just doing it to mess with the ladies.Whatever the reason it is BS.Unfortunately,if a fake review is removed I doubt the guy is banned from the site for doing so.

I've had other fake reviews successfully pulled in the past.  I am not worried about that.  The review was kind with favorable scoring.  It's just funny that he clearly did not read my profile.  I have given the same consistent service before I was on the internet, and these years that I have been on the internet.  No one and nothing will ever change that.  Take it or leave it, this is me and I operate within my comfort level at all times.  Everyone has the right to dictate their own behavior in intimate situations.

Thi it is a bit like 'the chicken and the egg', one of the  only reasons this site exists is because of the lovely ladies who willingly give their time and energy to the cause.  The gentlemen then report about their experiences which keep the site going and help to make it useful for others.  However, if this site doesn't protect it's ladies by banning fake writer's then I feel like there is a huge problem.  Misogynistic behavior should not be overlooked.  Double standards are lame.  I think people who fake, on either end of the game, should be banned and find a place in this subculture elsewhere...just my opinion.

Many thanks for the supportive emails I have received in regards to this foolery.

I'll somewhat echo what ILW said.  When I read reviews, I look for consistency in content and ratings.  The aberrations that are really high or low, I tend to disregard or look at with skepticism.  The consistency of reviews tends to reveal more of the truth about the experience and what to expect from a provider.  Hopefully this clown will be exposed and the review removed.

I had this happen to me a couple of times by girls I am no longer friends with...it's a pain in the ass but I think it's happens more than we think!!  I think that gentlemen and women alike who write fake reviews should be banned along with their IP address and what not...it's not fair!!

...nothing seemed to happen.  Eventually the review was pulled.  All their other reviews were still in tact.  e

I'm glad it was pulled, though I find it to be quite the double standard that nothing happens to this fraud!  :(
