I follow porn stars, celebs, pro athletes, and corporations for news on stuff like cars.  I wouldn't follow a provider as my friends follow me and they can see who I follow.  I check it every few days.  I don't post much and I don't find following people on twitter that interesting.  I'm more of a facebook person.

I knew Kim before she entered the business, and knew her again when she first started escorting (she started out stripping in Miami, and was tons of fun then), so sometimes we communicate through Twitter.

As for Twitter itself, I don't get it. Maybe it's my age/generation. Then I read this article in Wired about Twitter "power users", as if your text messages can be so powerful you can influence people and society with them. The concept is beyond my scope of recognition, but again, as a 50-something, I may not just be getting it.
