To clear the air over recent events, at this time I would like to offer a public apology. Last weekend using an alias, I posted on a subject about a ripoff that I had been subject to. In order to assuage the idea that it was involviong a lady that I consider a friend, I used an alias hoping to divert attention from that lady. But for all out there, it WAS not the afformention lady, but another who is not currently listed on TER. Reason being that if I had used my correct identification, many would, as they apparently already have, suspect I was speaking of this wonderful lady. Just goes to show how some of you out there think. At this time, I offer an apology to the lady/friend, for the possible hurt that this event may have caused. For all the suspecious jerks out there, you must live with your own guilty feelings.

You are a stalker. Maybe the police should get involved - if you were REALLY ripped off, give us the facts. If you are a nut job (more than likely), the facts will come out. They always do.
Not to start this up again, but I find it ironic that someome complaining about the use of an alias is aparently hiding behind one theirself. Hopefully a "double standard" is not in play here.

I might not be as intuitive as some people. I didn't know who had started that thread until it became obvious to everyone! Even then, it did not occur to me that you were talking about "the lady you consider a friend"! I think most of us know which lady you are referring to, and any of us who knows her also knows that she would NEVER rip anyone off! That whole theory of yours is ridiculous! I knew you were complaining about someone else. What bothered me was that you wouldn't tell us who! What good was your post in the first place? Why bother to warn us of a ripoff but not identify that threat to us?
Then you compounded that problem by posting under your user name in that same thread! If you hadn't done that, that thread would have died a painless death, and NO ONE would have suspected the "lady you consider a friend"!
Wow again! I sure am glad to know that most of the Marines who are out there protecting us and our way of life by risking their own lives are more intelligent than you seem to be!
As I understand it, this apology of yours is directed only to the "lady you consider a friend". That's good; it is up to her to accept it or reject it. You didn't seem to be apologizing to the community at large. That's good too; I, for one, would have a hard time accepting it when it included at least two insults to us, not to mention the original insult to our intelligence that started this whole thing.
Although a lot of really well thought out responses got posted, I miss Webbie's wonderful wit and detailed analyses and crushing summary.
Hey MS; You can talk to the folks on this board, but you'll be hard pressed to manipulate them. I advise you regularly evaluate your perceived friends, your assumed enemies, and your personal opinions. If things for you are going as I suspect, you couldn't do wrong to slow down and re-think your situation. Consider - You may be starting to worry folks.
