Hello! I would appreciate some input.

I am looking for some arm candy ending with some fun at the hotel. I am really thankful for TER to help me find a wonderful lady that would fit the bill.  I was wondering if it is reasonable to request some type of deviation for the hourly rate when I am seeking someone to go out on the town and then play later. I realize that most well reviewed ladies are well reviewed for a reason and deserve every penny and more. Is it reasonable to make offers or is that insulting and a no no. I can't justify spending hundreds per hour for the out on the town part..... the economy and all that.  Your advice (providers and hobbyists) would be appreciated and keep me from insulting someone. Thanks!

It's kind of a hard subject to brooch, as you said,  but you could always make an offer and let the lady decide what she wants to do for herself.
Personally, I don't mind reducing my rate to 300/hr if I know we are going to spend a substantial amount of time together frolicking out and about in the world, though once we hit the room my normal donation rate is in full effect.  Although, in order to offer that, I would want someone to book a minimum of four hours with me...

Each Provider is different and will make different exceptions etc...  It sounds like you are a gentleman and have a good head on your shoulders.  The fact that you are attempting to handle the situation delicately, so as not to offend is admirable and I am sure you will have luck in finding what you seek!

You might want to consider having the girl of your choice do an overnight with you and then you could have an entire evening to do with as you wish and not have to be pressed for time.

Just some thoughts...

To reflect time being spent out of the hotel room.  In other words, 400 an hr turns into a lower rate the more hours you book.  Multi hour appts don't increase 400 dollars at a time.  You have to remember you are paying for our time, not just our service hun.

Please define “hundreds per hour”.  Do you mean 200 per hour ? or 300 per hour ?  is too much to justify spending on “social time” ?

Then don’t book “social time” or look for a lady who fits your budget.
You are paying for our time , what you decide to do with that time is up to you.

Most ladies do give a reduce rate for multiple hour dates, but most likely it isn’t going to be 100 per hour.

Each lady has her reasons for donations she has set.
While you look at it as WOW she gets paid 400/500 per hour , you forget how much it also costs a lady to look like arm candy………… but I am not even going to go into that part of it right now.

There are many things in life we want but can not afford. So best to stick to what you can or want to afford.

I find it amusing that some woman actually expect to be paid $$$$ an hour so the man can buy them dinner.Taking a woman out to a very nice restaurant and buying them an expensive dinner and drinks is all fine,even adding $ per hour for their time is understandable.Paying $$$$ per hour on top of the dinner and the normal date rate for the room time is just taking advantage.In this economy especially, the ladies need to be more flexable and not be so greedy.Spend some time and find a lady that that would enjoy a nice dinner with a gentlemen,and not just seeking a walking ATM to drain dry.Shame on the guys that waste big money just to watch a woman eat,they created the greed problem.

Ummmm I've never seen but ONE lady who's multi hour rates increased in 400 dollar increments.  Mine sure as hell don't.  400 is for the first hour, then the rates go down from there.  

And people bulk at the thought of us charging people for our time.  Doesn't your lawyer charge for his time?  What about your Doctor?  Kind of what I thought too

I can buy my own food.  Yes we have to eat, but we can afford to buy our own 60 dollar meals should we chose to.  Sweet gesture to be offered but why would I do that when I could be at home with my babies?

And I am so tired of hearing about this economy.  As one provider has said in the past, hobbying isn't a necessity it's a want.  If you have off brand ketchup in your fridge you probably shouldn't be hobbying until you can afford a heinz bottle.  This economy isn't that bad.  If you've lost your job, chances are, you shouldn't be hobbying.  If spending an extra 4 cents a gallon for gas is breaking your pocket book, you probably shouldn't be hobbying.  Just because Wal mart is running blue light specials doesn't mean every lady on TER needs to as well.

If you don't like a ladies rates, or extended dates, then stick to the one hour rate or visit CL where I am sure you can get a whole day of adventure and who knows, maybe even crabs or something as a souvenir, for oh 800 dollars.  

You have to remember, this is a business.  While most of us do enjoy it, we also have lives outside of it.  Families, jobs etc.  So our time is worth X amount.  YOU ARE PAYING FOR OUR TIME babe.  Not for us to do back flips off a bed for you.  

And shame on you for not valuing a providers time.

First off, you are not a lawyer, and you are not a doctor either. There is no comparison.... other than the fact most lawyers and most general practitioners do not get $400/hour.

You are tired of hearing about the economy as an excuse. Yet your advise to another provider used the economy as part of the reasoning she is slow. Frankly the economy IS a very big part of most peoples lives right now, whether they 'lost their job' or  'having to spend 4 more cent per gallon' then they should not be hobbying, it is real. May not be effecting you, but many people are struggling. Good advise, but coming from a angry hooker, that may not be the right approach to him. Kindness prevails. We can always catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

By the way, the "Blue Light Special" is conducted at K-Mart not WalMart.  Maybe you been just eating too many of those $60 meals eh? I find your post way too condescending. Sure he was a jerk, so that makes you what, with all this?

First,I did not say all the ladies are greedy...I have been with some wonderful ladies that have even offered to buy me dinner.I have come back from the restroom and found a drink has been ordered for me and is waiting on the bar.I have been given extra time and even what turned into an overnight (once)at no charge.There are some big hearted wonderful women in this hobby that I have been lucky enough to spend time with.I did say that expecting $400 an hour to share dinner is out of line,in my opinion,but the time should not be expected to be given for free either,IN MY OPINION.
After all the person that started this posting asked for our opinions,so I gave it.What I am trying to say is that if a man spends some time looking,he can find a lady that doesn't make him punch a time clock when they sit down for dinner.
And please don't say the economy has nothing to do with it,it is effecting everybody in one way or another.We may not have to stop hobbing all together,but we all have to try and make the money go last a little longer,so like any business you should try and help your customers get more value for their money.When times get better again your customers will remember the little extra you gave them when they needed it.

And I know MANY lawyers who get $400 PLUS an hr.  And judging from doctor bills, I can tell Doctors range between 100-300 an hr.  

As for the economy the reason I gave the new lady that advice is because; yes, with the economy so slow for many people, guys aren't willing to bet on a new gal.  They are sticking to more well established ladies they know.  THAT sir, is why I gave her the advice I did.

This is a RETAIL site, the same one when you were trying to vend $250 punani for $500 and up a year ago. I realize the economy sucks, but the demographics haven't changed.

It must really suck when you're no longer in management, and you can not only no longer call the shots, not to mention no longer do the "test drives" as one famous wannabe (now ex-) agency owner famously vented to his audience about this time last year.

IMHO, pricing is frequently unrealistic here, I mean, you of all people (and maybe Desperado and his band of 20,000 sockpuppets on that OTHER LA board, but I digress) should know this, but I've come to the realization it's bad form (not to mention a TOS violation lol) to get involved in that discussion.

No matter how ridiculous a rate card may appear, in my experience, there's usually someone out there who thinks he's getting a deal. More power to them both. And if a lady can get her rate on a consistent basis, my hat's off to her. After all, it's never personal, only business.
