It seems more and more privacy is a concern. As a business man, I don't want my information out there, to many potential issues. Many girls on here won't see you if you don't use a phone or give certain information. I believe they are missing out on special opportunitys. I believe the whitelist is an effective tool and a good gauge if you trust the person giving feedback. On my last trip two of the most amazing woman gave me a chance only through email, thanks for trusting in others as we would've never met otherwise. Just food for thought as your gut may not always be right.
One of my favorite books is "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell, the author of "The Tipping Point". It's about how when listening to your gut, you tend to make better decisions than when you over think things (aka IMO provider references, whitelists, OKs). Which is why, for my business, provider references are only one part to the screening puzzle. They aren't the be all, end all and I will not let anyone's opinion or beliefs override my gut. Which is what you are asking of the ladies who screen differently than what you are willing to do.
Plus TER is not a screening site, if we don't know the provider at all, how are we to trust their whitelist or screening methods? Some men have whitelists from ladies they have never met too. A lot of ladies are email only for contact as well, just fyi. Ladies screen in a manner that makes them feel comfortable and most importantly, safe. You should find ladies that screen to your comfort level. It's really simple.
Outliers is one of my favorite book, but I digress. You're correct ladies screen in a way that makes them comfortable and safe. If a provider screens in away that makes me uncomfortable, such as asking to see a DL at the time of meeting I simply move on. I'm a planner and usually book in advance, so I like to get the screening out of the way ASAP so the provider doesn't stress about seeing me.

It'll have to go on my list. But given that I read my first entire book in about three years just last month, the to-read list isn't that long. Love all of his books though, gave my copy of Blink to a dear client, in fact. About to get into this one, you might enjoy it as well.
I agree with you completely. If I know the provider personally and we are friends I really trust her judgement and really don't need a lot more information. If it is a reference I don't know, or never heard of, then I will need more information to verify the person requesting a date with me. I don't ask for a lot and would never hang on to or use this information against anyone. That is not what this is all about. It Is about us feeling comfortable being able to spend time together and have a good connection. I find P411 has an employment verification level which saves you, and me a lot of time in the screening process if that might be something that would work better for you.

I agree with Olivia there have been instances where gents have whitelisted but never in fact had an appt with said provider. If a provider wants to go off of a guy's reviews(which may or may not be false) and whitelists from providers who she may not know and that is good enough for her. But I have been in this business for years and I will tell you one thing my gut has never steered me wrong. I will continue to go with my gut along with screening...a pet peeve of mine is gents who feel their reviews from months or years ago and a few whitelists is the end all to be all.Especially when he knows a provider screens and needs more additional info and keep trying to make the provider amend their screening process to accommodate him.I need a phone# for gents I see.I am email only provider however I share my private work phone# before seeing a gent.That way if something changes he can call or text.
Email only with no phone# anything can happen maybe the email doesn't go through meanwhile the provider is waiting around for a response.A simple phone call can be alot faster than email.But if a gent feels he cannot share anything but a ter handle with some whitelists and some reviews and cannot even afford to get google voice or a secondary phone but cannot give me at least a phone# is someone I will probably not meet. Good for you if you find a provider who will lightly screen you with the very minimal info you provided is awesome but not everyone is comfortable with that. Just my .02 Edited to add if the whitelists are from ladies I personally know that is a different story I wouldn't need additional info.
That's a lot of good feedback, thanks for the insight. I guess people are just different and safety is always the number one priority for both parties. Burner phones are for pros, not the typical guy who just wants to relax and enjoy time with someone special. In the end it's all a choice and depending on your comfort level, decides what you will and won't do.
