Hello, I have a really quick (yet scary) question to ask about posting reviews. This is a 2 part question one is for us Men and the other is for the Providers.
For us men (and some ladies) would posting a review be an admition of guilt. Could it be used against you in court. I mean when you post a review you are actually spelling out what you did with who and for how much and what went on. That is kind of scary for me. While I want to share the good experience I am kind of affraid to because I am affraid they can use it against me. Although it would be a tragic waist of tax dollars to prosecute I have seen courts waist money on far less.
Question 32 is for the providers out there. It is basically the same question. Are you kind of affraid that a DA can use your TER Profile against you. I dont know maybe someone out the knows more than I do It is just kind of scary for me, so I am sure it is scary for you. Anyway probably a stupid question but it has bothered me since I found this place

Keep in mind that the reviewer is only going my a TER handle and obviously not their real name, all reviews are the property of TER and finally, this is for "entertainment" purposes only....

I'll let the providers speak for themselves.

I can't say that a review you wrote could NEVER be used against you, but it has never happened yet that I know of, and I'm pretty sure I would know! There are some safeguards against that possibility. TER posts that all their reviews are fictional accounts for one thing. Your user name would have to be PROVEN to link to your real name, for another. I'm not sure that even if they did that, it would be enough to prove that you wrote a true account of an experience you actually had! Who would testify against you? I doubt if a review would be enough proof. I also just don't think it is worth it for LE and the prosecuters to go to all the trouble that would entail to convict someone of a rather minor misdemeanor!

Still, it is a small risk, I guess. But we take a slightly larger risk every time we meet a provider! If you don't want to accept any risk at all, you can go to the brothels, where prostitution is legal, or maybe this hobby just isn't for you!

#1) No, no and no. Not sure what judicial system in our great cities and counties want to try and bust you for writing a review on some review site. It is a misdemeanor crime that is not worthy of plugging the whole judicial system with such folly.

Advice though, regarding LE, only open your mouth to breath. Do not under any circumstances talk to LE, it they are bent on taking you in your gone if they have what they think are the goods (not likely)in this scenario. If they take you in still only use your mouth for breathing. There is a reason they advise you that "anything you say and and will be used against you", cause IT WILL.

RE: Question 32, I think a lot of the above applies, but let me mention something that has irked me for a while.

I's not my problem, but why are so many ladies bound and determined to cut their own throat on their websites. It is ironic that they have all manner of disclaimers.... "consenting adults.... this is not an offer of" Please tell me then, when you go to the service page with these free websites that abound that so many girls want to make a list, for client... or for LE:

So girls do tell, what is the point of providing a laundry list of performance items available if the disclaimer fully applies. Make this question #33. lol

No.  Realize that this is a risky business but it's not a felony or anything truly serious and a review isn't a confession.  They aren't coming after you in that way... if they come after the hobbyist it's by putting an ad on CL that's too good to be true.  Seriously, it's not this"big bust" for them and they aren't doing prolonged investigations for such low level charges.

Not a huge risk for all the reasons stated and the servers for TER are not located in the US (They are in a country were all activity is legal) so any local LE would have a very difficult time getting the required information they would need to build a case against you.

It really depends on what someone else wants to do with your reviews.

scenario 1: your SO figures out the link between you and your TER handle (and reviews/white lists).

As someone said above, not a lot of legal legs to stand on but it's leverage against you and that grudge may lead to a lot of discomfort, if not outright misery.

scenario 2: potential providers that interest you may check your reviews (and white lists) to evaluate you.

This is rather common.  The tone of your review may be the provider some insight as to how you will be as a client.  They can also check with providers that you have reviewed (or ones that have whitelisted you) to gather additional information.

For the most part, I don't think anything greater than a misdemeanor is possible.  A follow up article in the LVRJ about the VETO program that vice is using mentioned that one of the most arrested women on their list has been busted 100+ times, 80% of them dismissed and served 6 months in jail, lots of community service and a class on AIDS/STDs for the rest.  And she's here illegally (Canadian citizen without a work visa).

The case against a guy would have to involve pimping, pandering, and/or racketeering.  An LV Sun article mentioned that the charges aren't severe but the forfeiture portion is where they're hurting the pimps.  Does writing 100 reviews lead to a felony?  I really doubt it.

One issue I would like to address, you should ask if the provider you will review will be OK with a review on TER.  As some providers don't like any reviews, or maybe they don't care for the ones that get into too many details, you should respect their wishes.

I agree with quzi on checking with a provider before you post.

I feel it's more of an issue for them than the hobbyist.  After all, we can all say, "It was a dream/fantasy" but LE could get a pretty good idea of what a provider will do.

Several AMPs where I live, got busted a couple of years back and it was in the press how LE found out what was going on behind closed doors before they started going undercover.  While the reviews were not used, it help get them going in a certain direction.

I've never posted a review.  In talking to my ATF awhile back she actually preferred that but understood the reviews.  Kind of a catch 22.  They need the reviews, but in some cities, it could cause issues for them.

yes I took all that language off my site after being threatened by a client said he turned me into LE. What a load of garbage, but i'm not giving anyone any ammo against me!!
