I've followed the board for a little while now and have hobbied selectivty on and off for a couple of years....I find myself in some need of assistance.
I am having a little poker party this weekend with 6 friends and I would like some entertainment for the event. It's not a bachelor party, however, some activity towards that end would be good. Of course, each player would have the choice of partaking in individual adult fun at any time.
Here's what I would like...I would like 2, MAYBE 3, no more indies to attend. Of course, there will be plenty of food and drink. My question is about the $. These players will be prepped about the situation to know that individual fun will be $-$$. Limiting to 2/3 indies insures that each will walk away with at least $$$$, so I guess the question is whom would you recommend and how do I approach them about this? I don't you (the indie) to come over for free, but then again, these are personal/preofessional aquantances of mine that will be at my house, playing for $$ a person on poker.
I just wanted to get some adive on how to go about this...I really do not want to call the "bachelor party" agency thing, and I know that most indie don't do "bachelor" parties...
Jade and Kit are famous for their bachelor parties. I would drop them an e-mail and see what you could work out with them. Other then that I would suggest contacting some of the ladies and see if they would be interested in this and who they would like to work with. What ever you do don't contact and agency!!! Jade and Kit are two very nice ladies .
You didn't really say how long you expect these indies to stay at your event. At $400 per, I'd say that's about an hours worth, maybe 90 minutes. You'd be looking at longer rates (and a bump for each extra person in the group) if they have rates listed on their website. If you were dangling $2k per, you might find more interest from providers willing to play hostess and party girl.
Kit and Jade at Desert Delights are well known for doing bachelor parties. You should check their site out and figure out if their idea of a party comes close to what you're expecting.

I would expect the indies to say no more than 2 hours, unless they wanted to. I understand the 300-400/hour game, but at that rate, that should be f/s for ONE person. But that's not what I'm trying to do. I want to guarantee 100 each indie per hour for showing up. If they can play some games, of course their would be more $$...But then each player would have the opportunity to spend some quite time with the indie of his choice, which means the indie would then be able to take in anywhere from 2-7, based on time and whether she would see 1 or 2 of the guys....
I'll check out Jade and Kit...I am open to any others though....
I would contact some of the providers you have seen in the past and ask their opinion. They may be able to help find some "friends" for you.
If I didn't know you, I wouldn't be comfortable with the arrangement. But who knows, I'm just a guy
