now before you think i am crazy .. in the last 90 days i have been in the wynn, bellagio and ParkMGM/Nomad.       bellagio was packed and frankly with people that normally wouldn't be there if you get my drift.     Wynn was a little better.    ParkMGM was practically empty and its smoke-free ! .

so while ParkMGM isnt as upscale as the others right now its a lot safer and i would stay in the Nomad levels.  those rooms have fewer users and those that do i would suspect are more careful and upscale.    and the Nomad suites may not be gold plated but are still very nice.

I am making plans to stay at Wynn or Bellagio for a few days during Thanksgiving week.  Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  (1)  Which property is easier for a "guest" to come up to the room?  It was hassle-free at Bellagio, but that was pre-covid.  (2)  Which casino seems safer?  - less crowded and plenty of mask wearing.   Thank you.

Havent had any issue at Wynn, Cosmo, Bellagio in the last 2 months from my experiences. I very much prefer Wynn, but it  was hit or miss even before Covid for me, so I always meet downstairs or grab dinner first.

While all are generally very safe, Wynn has had a couple of incidents of violence since re-opening, and Cosmopolitan is restricting entry from 6pm - 6am Friday and Saturday with lines to get back into the property lasting 45 minutes or more. And, there has been a stabbing recently near Cosmopolitan. So, by process of elimination I would suggest Bellagio.

people at cosmo are running around like its  2019   avoid.

First let's address your concerns
1-Both hotels have security at the elevator so you really should have a problem unless you act the fool, then all bets are off.
2-Now if you're going during the weekday of Thanksgiving and not the weekend then I'd say the Wynn/Encore. The Wynn/Encore casino is more spacious so it'll look like less people then the Bellagio.
But I would hands down take go to the Bellagio, based on location. I like to skip to different hotels and the Bellagio is at the center, you have the Cosmo, Aria, Caesars and the Crystal shopping center. The Wynn has what Treasure Island?...oh and the Palazzo but not much happens there
Also the Wynn/Encore has a certain "air" about it that's a turn off. If you're into gaudy jewelry. bath in Brut cologne, smoke like crazy then the Wynn is your spot.

all valid Pre COVID points ..   but in terms of safety i would avoid Bellagio, i was just there and really nervous.
too crowded and too much .... what's the term .. let me think ....   white trash  ..one guy walked by me in the main casino with a shirt  saying in large letters .... "And I shaved my balls for this?"      i miss the days people took pride in their appearance and associated safety.

I chuckled regarding your t-shirt remark. I agree about when people took pride in their presentation. I stayed at the Encore pre COVID-19 and brought at least one suit for a nice dinner.

I was at Bellagio a few weeks ago.
No issues with security and I felt safe, but
At the pool, you must wear a mask while lounging. Unless actively eating, drinking or smoking, there are no exceptions. security is right on top of you. when in pool, one can go mask free.. makes no sense to me..
Check to see their restaurant schedule- I was feet disappointed with the hours of operation on some of the places- all the coffee shops and such close early.. casino was humming at all times.

Wynn hands down unless you have status with the Mlife properties.

Good luck

I was at the Bellagio just the other day and there was zero social distancing at the bars or restaurants. Wynn is doing a better job in my opinion  and Bellagio has key checks so you will need to meet downstairs at either.

Thank you everyone for your advice and comments.  Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

I dont know if the pools are open this time of year but I was at the Wynn in September and it was the only place in town that allowed no masks when you were sitting in your seat.

It's heated of course but when you get out, in the cold of Jan, it could be a shock.
I wanna say the Wynn/Encore has one pool open as well.

Everytime I go to bellagio I never had a issue from past experiences
