Palms for the food.

Either for the parking. (Parking shouldn't be a deciding factor anywhere in Vegas?)

Palms has more convenient parking if you want to self-park than MonteCarlo.Valet of course is centrally located on both properties.
I would go with the Palms if you can get one of their remodeled rooms I was there recently the rooms are very nice.

Since you have stayed at Monte Carlo you are already familiar with the food selections and what the room look like.
Palms is off the strip but very close and you are right across the street from the gold coast they have a great chinese food restaurant there ping pang pong.Palms has a food court along with N9ne steakhouse,etc.

Also,if you are not already aware I would recommend checking out this site oyster.com
It shows you the pictures of hotel rooms and gives you the pros and cons of the property you are searching.
Pretty useful since since we all know sometimes the pictures on the hotel's website or third party booking site doesn't always show an accurate representation of a hotel.

If you wanna throw around money the Palms is the place. They have crazy rooms for those wanting to sludge. Even rooms with stripper poles in the shower! Fun and dangerous! What more could you want?

Their basic rooms are nice but as far as location...

 
Otherwise I would choose the Monte Carlo as they are ON strip which is were more of the action usually is. Lots of casinos and shows walking distance as well as a ton more dining options.

Close to STK,take the tram to Aria, Cyrstals, and the Ballagio....then walk to the Ceasars forum.
Palms is played out...Plus there's nicer women at the Bellagio. I have good luck in both the games and women at the Bellagio.
