After some very interesting semi-public negotiations with Las Vegas, Florida and Texas....the next ten years goes to....wait for it.....LAS VEGAS!

When I first heard the news about them possibly moving to Florida I thought that can't be right.
Who wants to go to FL for NFR instead of Vegas?No one.lol
I love NFR and the people who come for it every year and it helps our economy:

That is outstanding news for Las Vegas and for the PRCA.  Now, if I could only get some tickets to the NFR, I could cross that item off of my Bucket List.

The negotiations leading up to the final decision go to show: Don't *ever* try to strong arm Vegas. LOL I enjoy NFR season in Vegas & the influx of money to our fair city is a great thing.  The building of the new arena will bring jobs & ultimately, even more visitors.  NFR in Kissimmee, my ass. LOL  Vegas has been the best choice for nearly 30 years because We ARE hospitality and everybody wants to come here!  Some of my favorite people are ranchers & cowboys, and I love it when they're here

the NFR is worth 54 million in income to Las Vegas. Vegas had to up the ante in prize money give to the rodeo to 14 million a year. The other reason the Rodeo decided to stay here was the huge concentration of rooms within a short distance to Thomas and Mack. Also Florida did not even have a stadium built yet, only one promised.
