Most stay inside cardboard boxes underneath the freeway at I-15 and Charleston. At dawn, pickup trucks arrive. Men, woman, and even children race up towards the vehicles in hope of getting picked for a day job...

OK OK, I'm being a smartass :-)

I have known traveling providers to have stayed at Luxor (Tower rooms), Monte Carlo, Paris, and Mirage.

Luxor seems to have the most reasonable rates for Jacuzzi suites but they are located in the pyramid section. They have security posted at the elevators so you would have to meet your clients downstairs - not a big issue.

As Cheese said pretty much anywhere.  I would suggest a place either on the strip or close to it.

I recently stayed at the Monte Carlo and liked it. It's not too big, it's in a good location and they don't have security on the elevators so your clients can come straight up.  I would avoid the MGM as it's just way too huge and takes forever to walk from your room to the pool!

Enjoy - Vegas is a great place to work!

I like the Luxor as well.  I'm not a provider, but over the past 3 months I've stayed there twice and have had 6 providers visit me there.  All 6 have said that it was a good choice of hotels, and in fact there were no problems at all with security, who was more intent on the girls working the bars.  However, as stated previously, you want a room in one of the towers, as there is security on the pyramid rooms because people try to use the wierd elevators (inclinators they're called).  The East Tower is closest to the lobby, casino and restaurants.  The West Tower is closer to the pool and health clubs, and is a long walk to most everything else.

If you stay on the 5th floor or below in the pyramid, you don't have to use the inclinators, and there's no security on these elevators.

You have thatr backwards...

It is the people shooting up at the bar and the class of the ladies working the bathrooms that add to the sophisticated air.

Which hotel are you referring to?  The MGM?

I stayed there back in April. Decent rate but I didn;t like the place. AC didn't work when I arrived. Jacuzzi didn't work properly. Changed rooms. Won't stay there again. There are better places. Bally's, Rio Suites, Monte Carlo....

Oh No the MGM doesn't have that kind of class and sophistication. I was referring to the Gold Spike downtown. The ambiance is unsurpassed and the wordly group of tourists and locals that frequent that hotel are enough to make anyones trip to Las Vegas a truly memorable one. Even places like The Plaza which nestles right next to the glorious GreyHound station can't even hold a candle to the GS.

P.S. note the dripping sarcasm in these posts.

Gracie, pleeez....

don't forget the food! It even outshines the other attributes you mention. Not only is it served on styrofoam with plastic forks, but they work hard to ensure that the quality of the food does not overshadow the low, low prices. But c'mon, you can't complain about the cleanliness of the pool!

I would have to say either the Venetian or Mandalay Bay are the best in my book. Just my opinion.
