First, on all my trips to Vegas, I have only seen providers who have good reviews on TER, and orobably always will. But there are some hot babes advertising on Backpage. I think I'm smart enough to filter out the model quality ads that are obvious fakes, but are there any legit providers there? There's one who goes by Rayna who looks real and there are Vegas landmarks in her pics, but she's not the only in one. What percentage would you guess are real? And then I suppose you take a chance of upsellers. Any thoughts?

I am sure there are legit providers that advertise there in some cities that is the main site to advertise on.
But,since you posted this on the Vegas board regarding Vegas I am sure there are legit ladies on BP in Vegas.
However,you will have to really do your research because there are tons of scam ads on BP vegas.
Some of those pictures that are posted that are model like pics or pics with more than one girl in the pic I would run those images through google images and tineye.Just because there is a picture posted in an ad with more than one lady and Vegas landmarks does not mean for sure that is an authentic pic could have been stolen from another site.

If you are inquiring if a lady named Rayna on BP is real provide a link to her ad I am sure someone will let you know.Have you googled her info email or phone#?Usually you can find a lot of info if you just google might show review links if she has them or scam reports if she is a fake.
I do not advertise on BP but there are many fakes that advertise on many sites besides just BP so a little research will certainly go along way to ensure that a gent has a mind-blowing time instead of ending up in disappointment.It is amazing how many gents that have reviews histories going back years here still get sucked into the fake BP ads.Google images/tineye and research you will know for sure.
I would think a gent would rather go with a for sure thing than have to guess or not be too sure.

Check to posts on BP thru here and see what you get.
Yes you might find a very small percent of ther BP ads worth it, but how do you know which ones they are?
So basically check on here for well known reviewed providers with good reviews and pick.
There are more than enough and you know what you are getiing.
1) The girl in the picture or ad.
2) NO upsell
3)you most likely won't get robbed, drugged etc.
4) You will have a great time
5) You will get what you pay for
6)You will be glad you did!

OK.. That's my pitch.. Sounds good doesn't it ?

I would say if you research and select a provider through here you will have over 95% success.

IF you chance it on BP, you will have around 10% success.
I have struck out twice on BP.

I have Never had an issue with a provider once she is reviewed on TER. Most of the bad reviews I have read on TER have been from ladies via BP ads.

NOTE:  We are referring to BP ads for ladies in Vegas. Other cities may be different.

In DC where I'm from there is an art to finding someone real on BP (or Eros), but it often starts with a reverse image search using Tineye as well as a TER search and google search for the phone number.  Often the pic is stolen from a model or is being used by multiple people.  I know the BP world is enticing with its low prices, but for the vast majority of hobbyists in DC it is not worth the effort.  A very good success ratio woul be no greater than 50% in DC and it sound like it would be even lower in Vegas.  In general if it seems TGTBT, then trust your instinct.

Here is what I use:

The first basic step I do is to search her phone number and/or email address.  I use Google, but different people like different search engines.  If she has reviews, those normally are towards the top of the results.  Sometimes I find nothing or different ads with different photos and names.

If I don't get any results, then I search for her on this site.  http://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/searchReviews.asp  Normally if Google didn't bring up anything, then I won't find anything here either.

Then I reverse her number.  I use Search Bug.  http://www.searchbug.com/tools/reverse-phone-lookup.aspx  They let you do up to 10 free searches per day.  If it comes back a "LANDLINE" then it is most likely an agency ad.  If it come back "VoIP" then it is likely a virtual number, like mine or Google Voice.  Most reputable independents just use cell phones.

The last hing I do is a photo search.  I use Tin Eye.  http://www.tineye.com  However, Perfectstorm said in a recent post that he likes Google Image better.  http://images.google.com

Not to be argumentative, but the reverse phone search is not an accurate indicator.  My own posted phone numbers come up as landlines but I am most certainly legitimate, reputable and have ALWAYS been independent. I have also had clients whose phone numbers came up as landlines but have seen with my own eyes the number rings to their cell phone. There are so many options for phone service nowadays, including forwarding, etc, that the practice of determining a person's legitimacy based on the type of number they use is old school and antiquated.
