Actually, if you could just convince a few million other visitors to do the same thing, the locals would have a better chance at lower prices.
The good news is that when you visit Las Vegas, there are plenty of distractions that don't involve sex (well, I can't actually name any, but I've been told that other stuff happens here too). That can't really be said for some of the places we end up. So, I guess it's fair...if I HAVE TO go to BumFuck, Kentucky, the least the chamber of commerce should do is offer up low priced escorts. Here, they claim to have conventions & stuff too.

I have been doing my homework on the available providers in LV and really shocked. It seems that to get a decent one, you'll have to shuck out at least $400/hour. Some of you guys are even paying upwards of $1000/hour. Holy shit!
I really thought that, since there is an overwhelming supply of providers there, rates would be either the same or better than in the Mid-Atlantic area. Our high end girls, including those visiting, typically charge $300-$350/hour. Some XXX stars that visit charge astronomical rates, but it seems like a bargain here.
I guess I'll have to take care of business before I leave here on Wednesday since the LV rates are out of this world... Unless, of course, some of my LV Brethren have a productive suggestion.
Oh, I'm pretty sure that I'll need incall since my buddies I am coming there with have no idea I am a hobbyist.

I'm not sure how your post is going to come across. The rates that ladies charge here is what they charge. In Vegas, you pay for what you get. Every lady here charges what they think they deserve, and no one here argues or negotiates with them. None of your brethern will assist you in trying to get a better rate.
I will tell you that the ladies here take a back seat to no one. You will not find a better group of providers or hobbiests, anywhere else. I hope you do get the opportunity to meet with someone here. Just please don't insult them by trying to get a better rate because providers charge less in VA, MD or DC.

I don't believe my point was to ask my brethren to help me gain discounted rates. My point was that I is a bit hard to understand the supply/demand model here.
Hell, you guys must have 3 or 4 times the listings on Er*s.c*m than any other city.
I will argue that the ladies there charge what they think the mongers will pay; rather than what they think they are worth. We have plenty of providers visiting our area with a 702 area code charging $250 - $350 /hour. I am sure that when they return to LV, they bump their rates back up.
Anyway, I have received some very constructive PMs...so thank you to those who responded.

No worries. I know that the costs are higher here than just about anywhere else, but that being said, I still think, for your money, you will not find a better group of ladies anywhere else. I do hope you are lucky in your search, and at the tables.

rates are definitely higher here than most places.
You have a few options:
1) The bar is set by the nearby brothels (nearest to the strip being in Pahrump: Chicken Ranch and Sheri's). The menu (list) prices once you get a lady to her private room is pretty steep and you can negotiate that down. Even then, you can easily pay twice what you're paying at home.
2) Most indie providers don't ask for deposits, at least for most appointments less than 4 hours. The no shows tend to hit both sides (the provider can flake out/guys flake out).
3) The lure of "sin city" and all of its vices (btw, prostitution and solicitation are illegal in Clark County; Las Vegas and the strip being somewhat central in the county) has lots of horny guys with cash (or credit card advances and/or debit card withdrawals).
4) There are some providers in Las Vegas that charge $350 or less for the first hour. You'll need a VIP membership to search for reviews in Las Vegas up to the $350 price range. For $20/month, probably some of the best money spent (think of it like an unlimited carfax report for a month).
If you really need an incall, two suggestions:
a) hit the legal brothels. Those are all incall only.
b) get a second room. there's too many outcall only options when you're on the strip that limiting yourself to ones that have an available incall down to a tiny percentage. during the week (before friday night), room rates can be reasonable so it won't cost you much.
You can search for incall providers but not all of them offer incall all the time. You'll just have to ask each one if they'll have an incall. You'll notice on the personal websites that they charge a premium for an incall, cause they'll book the room for you.

The Las Vegas Market is OVERPRICED and most of the "kiss ass" guys are afraid to say it. Just a suggestion place an ad on CraigsList about coming to town---looking for Non Pro Drinks, Dinner, Sexy and Fun Time; have them send picture, donation and contact information----you will be pleasently surprised what you come up with.
I for one have now boycotted the Las Vegas Market for almost 6 months and never been happier with the quality of lady I visit and the lower cost per hour.

See, Vegas might not be overpriced- because people are certainly paying those prices. That's sort of the drawback of hobbying in a place where people can flush away thousands at the table- the ladies certainly know that and price accordingly. (N.B.- However, I think it tends to attract some VERY high quality and professional indies- more per capita than pretty much anywhere, once you get past the dreck of agencies.)
I have no problem believing that people might not find sufficient VALUE in Vegas's prices, though. Makes perfect sense to me. High priced ladies are luxury goods, in a sense- and lots of people (even a surprising number of rich ones) don't think Beemers, bling and designer clothes are worth those high prices, either- even ones who could afford them. In the end, it's a subjective opinion that everyone has the right to think differently about.
