Just curious about security at the New York New York as will be 1st time staying there / also love to know the quality of the rooms compared to Luxor if anyone has any info / much appreciated

Ive never been checked for a key there or even seen security.
It's quite dated
...as a provider I must admit I hate the casinos with cobblestone flooring(NY NY, Paris etc) .. means I have to take 2 pairs of shoes lol!
Luxor varies depending on if you get a pyramid room or a tower room. Tower is begtter than pyramid imho
(note you can usually get Luxor rooms through the HOTELTONIGHT app for a ridiculously low price)

I personally have never had to deal with security checks there!

NY NY Hotel usually no security at elevators  
The rooms are nice  - IMO similar to rooms at Luxor  

the west tower rooms are much nicer than the pyramid rooms. Both hotels are easy to get up stairs

at the NYNY big jacuzzi tub in the room not bathroom with mirrors around the tub makes for an amazing fun time!NYNY rooms are alot better than the Luxor.
The rooms at the Luxor needs a major renovation ASAP!
I would definitely go with NYNY over Luxor as others have said there is no security at NYNY or Luxor elevators.
If you do stay at the Luxor beware of the elevators there hold on tight they shake really bad(or at least they did the last time I was there that was some time ago)
